A somewhat worthy successor of Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templar. IMHO it lacks both character development and story depth. The game fails to present a more interesting weaving between the game plot and real historical facts such as 17th century piracy and Mayan civilization. Even with these shortcomings it is fun and a must for anyone that enjoyed the first instalment of the series.

A game created by the Half-Life modding community and then supported and updated to the Source engine by Valve via hiring the DoD team. Developed by gamers for gamers. That is enough reason to get and play this game. Nowdays (2011) there is still a huge gaming community both for vanilla gameplay as well as GunGame gameplay.

One of the best point-and-click graphic adventure games of all time. I love the fact that you can switch seamlessly between the enhanced graphics/ original graphic versions in mid game by just pressing a key. Also notice that this is probably the game that showcased the SCUMM system to a wider audience and thus helped redefine the point-and-click graphic adventure genre. So as a bonus you get a piece if PC Gaming history.

Seminal milestone in the history of PC Gaming at par with the likes of Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Elite, SimCity, Civilization, Ultima, Myst and more. Enough said.
