It's a fun little game.

The map is a joy to explore, the characters are funny and the whole atmosphere is pretty lighthearted. I did think it stretched itself a bit towards the end explaining the facts over and over again like I didn't already understand it, but that didn't detract from the good times I had with it.

FIRST AND FOREMOST
Do yourself a service and play with the French voice cast and subtitles. They were able to carry so much emotion in their delivery I was truly moved, even without knowing french at all.

Aside from that, well I'm pretty sure the other million raving reviews already painted a pretty good picture of the situation here.

Expedition hit both my highs and lows, the most fun I had playing games in a long while and also the most emotional I got playing one.

I write this after finishing the main campaigns on Normal. True ending, no spirit of advocacy, just me and my gigantic greatsword.

The game is amazing, simply put.
The combo system is engaging, the bosses are peak design, the levels have a good amount of exploration with well sparsed enemies able to ensure a constant flow of combat with rare "overwhelming" situations. It grew on me more and more after each level, and now that I finished I'm just in awe.

Even having a very highend rig I sadly can't state every game runs flawlessly nowadays, because some devs seem to be really bad optimizing stuff. Not the case here.
I played it in my highend rig, 4k all ultra no framegen extremely stable 120hz, played it in a midend rig and even on my steam deck. All very reasonable experiences. Real props to the team for this one.

I rate it 10/10, would Khazam again.

Bought to use in No Rest for the Wicked since that doesn't have Framegen, out of curiosity tried it out on Monhun Wilds and why the ♥♥♥♥ is it better than DLSS??? I can achieve my FPS target (117fps) with no upscaling and everything on ultra added minimum input lag.

I mean, I knew it was good... But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

However tested this game hitboxes was so high they shouldn't be paid a salary.

It's fun, fast, addicting, replayable and has buni.

The "shorts" format of MMO raiding.

Bad game.

Having just got into the game recently, I like the game. Has good PvE content, a chill community, fun classes (after 50).
But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it hard picking up god knows how many years of Yoshida's vision on all of those boring ass quests. Not that the overall story ain't good, but there's so much padding it just looks endless. Considering how almost all content is locked behind doing the main questline, you're in for a ride.

If you have either the time or the patience, go ahead. It's a fun RPG at the end of the day.

Has some good ideas but some pretty stupid ones too, who thought those flying sticks that don't ever come down would be a nice mechanic. Please fire him.

In my 25 years of life this is the first video game I have ever played, all the others were nothing but mere shades on true glory.
