First of all, This game is actually early access unlike most games using that tag.

At this point in development i'd recommend getting the game for either.
1. Trying the game for fun with friends and having a little laugh.
2. Being part of a game developing (which is why i got the game) Every update the developer puts up a vote where you can vote on a couple of different features which is quite unique. (would enjoy a choice to put in your own update idea :) )
3. Or just a little time waster and supporting someone who is quite new at making games.

I do recommend getting the game if nothing else just to try it, You would most likely at this point in development manage to get through all the content under the refund time if you're really that disappointed.

campaign was fun and stunning even if some parts were remade in a different style than i'd like.

I sadly have to give a negative review due to two things.

1. The new menu ui is pretty but personally horrible, there might be some way to turn it off but since i only noticed the new one after finishing the game it being not quickly found just makes me dislike it even more.

2. I used to be able to join multiplayer servers but for some reason i can't anymore due to "previous vac violations" which makes it seem that they at one point or another changed how the servers work, ( i have an old vac in css ) if i actually cheated in black mesa i could understand but i never have and getting multiplayer locked away seems like a weird thing to have happened since i used to be able to play it.

If you enjoyed the game and only want the single player go for it! but i really don't like when developers go out of their way to make it impossible for some people to play when they used to be able to.
