Such a massive let down. This game could revolutionize both RPG and RTS genres at the same time but instead it is a hollow husk of broken promises. TaleWorlds has added nothing of value to the game the entirety of early access and now are moving on to full release with this broken pile so they can collect a little more money before it fades completely.

If you haven't played yet, you can expect about 10 hours of fun before you start to see all the aspects that are missing or should've been fleshed out further or in most cases wasn't fleshed out at all. This is purely a battle simulator and does a poor job of it. Any true value will come from the modding community.

This is a fantastic RPG.

Amazingly detailed open world.
A main story that doesn't get boring or feel like a chore.
Plenty of side quests that mix well with exploration.
Flexible combat styles and tactics.
Decent armor and weapon choices with a fashion mechanic so you can keep stats and look good.

However, this doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game, So I'm left wondering why include AC at all? This would of been an amazing stand alone game, so what if its built on the same engine. Frankly, I think Ubisoft should start letting some of these great ideas hold their own franchise instead of slowly diluting the AC universe.

NMS has come a long way since launch.
Its still not the space exploration game of my dreams but its finally a decent game.

Instead of abandoning the game after its abysmal launch the Devs have released update after update to bring it closer to what they described it as before it was released.

And with the Beyond update around the corner, I'm sure I'll be putting even more time into it.

Little things I wish they would add:
General ship maintenance and crash landings (you find abandoned crashed ships all over the place, yet you can enter and leave the atmosphere and fly through super storms without any damage to your ship).

Larger and more detailed aspects of the game that aren't procedural.( All the interior space stations, planetary trade stations, and freighter interiors look the exact same).

I really wanted to like this game and everything is great besides the most important aspect in my opinion.
Controls.
I've read a lot of reviews about it, saying stick with it.

But In my own experience, the controls are the only hurdle in this game, and I'm left questioning "why?"
Its a very basic layout but seems that it was made purposely difficult.

People seem to associate this difficult control layout with the insanely fluid physics, like one couldn't exist without the other, quite honestly I see it as the only real roadblock for this game.

Examina wants to make one on one combat tactical and challenging but making the character harder to control is not the way to go, at least not for me.

Like so many reviews, I wish there was a 'mixed' review button. Besides the controls, I couldn't find an issue with the game and if that is not an issue for you then I suggest you try it.

Every road leads to the cash shop.
This isn't surprising for a free to play MMO. However, its lacking in every other department that would make a game worth spending money on.

The graphics are pretty much identical to MMOs from 2012.
The UI is overwhelming at times, so much so that at times information is overlapping.
The quests are insanely bland. Go here, Kill 3-7 monsters, push the activate key on 3-5 objects, collect 3-5 items from mobs, turn in quest and then move on. Rinse & repeat in different areas.
The familiar taming system is different and quite enjoyable.
PvP element seemed nonexistent. For the life of me, I couldn't find a leaderboard or any kind of competition besides literally seeking out another player for a 1v1 duel.
The game is dead. In the 8 hours I put into it, reaching level 15. I saw a whopping 3 other people.

Comparing Riders of Icarus even to a much older game like Perfect World International. It is severely lacking.

I thought CoD going back to its roots in WWII would somehow make things different.
It did not. Its the same old CoD, small maps flooded with one shot snipers.
I haven't bought a new CoD since MW2 and this game isn't going to change that.

Why the thumbs up?..cause this beta just might of saved me money.
I had the littlest hype in my heart and this beta crushed it.

So thanks for beta!

Funny how I've spent more time in a game that is free than any other game bought.

This game is very unique.
There are other instance based mmos.
The are other space sci-fi mmos.
There are other ninja mmos.

But there is nothing like Warframe.
..and what this game has on top of all the rest is simple.
It is truely free to play, because the premium currency is tradable.
..Meaning whatever is worth spending actual money on, I can find and sell to you then use your money to feed my noggle addiction.

I could write a little story about any number of awesome situations this game will throw at you. But I don't feel like it truely explains what you will be buying.

Here is what this game offers:
Pretty graphics - The game looks awesome, from watching the sunrise because you finally got a break from the night raiding parties to watching the sun disappear knowing things go bump in the night and every moment inbetween is beautiful.

Focused crafting - Everything has a purpose or is planned to have a purpose..even the little things like cutting up a cannibal and showcasing him in your yard will upset his buddies.

Active devs - I've never seen another EA project match their dedication. On the home menu, it literally has a countdown timer for the upcoming patch. These devs actually give themselves a deadline so they don't lose focus and they use that time to give meaningful updates and minor changes. They listen to their customers. I've seen them add features, tweak features and remove features based on feedback. Your opinion matters here.

True horror - Players have put hundreds of hours into the forest, explored every inch of the island, built a fortress and slayed hundreds of cannibals...yet still refuse to leave their base at night or dive deeper into the caves unless they're stuffed with flares and explosives. There is an element of fear in this game that you never really get used to. Things lurk in the shadows, make unnerving sounds, harass you at night, sneak up on you during the day and drag you into the dark when they win.

A story - Son gets nabbed, theres a door in a hole. Right now, the story is still in the works and I expect it will be all the way up to release. but, little things are released here and there that really make you want more.

Building - Matched with a horror atmosphere, this is done really well. You build with wood, sticks and stones. You can lay a blueprint for a pre-built structure or build something unique piece by piece. You can build in the tree tops or out in the ocean..both have their positives and negatives. Building a base will keep out the night but there is no promise of safety as things can still find a way in.

Truely, a game I love.

Hands down my favorite battlefield.
This game will go down in history..

The single player is interesting and compelling
The graphics are still eye candy compared to newer titles
The multiplayer is something CoD wishes they could make

10/10 buy this now
