Oh boy, where do I even begin with Rust? This game is an emotional roller coaster, to say the least. If you're looking for a game that will give you flashbacks or create the problem of you having random episodes every time you hear screaming, a helicopter, naked men (Especially ones holding random shaped sticks) or even just someones footsteps then Rust is the game for you.

The first thing that stands out about Rust is the fact that you start the game with absolutely nothing but a somewhat sane temperament. This doesn't last for long though, as just a few hours of game play can provide one with ample delusion and a sufficient number of new voices in your head. It's the experience of being stranded on a deserted island, but instead of being able to find coconuts, you will be required to bash in the heads of innocent passers by with a rock in order to progress and build yourself a very temporary place to store loot.

But wait, there's more. The other players in Rust are just as crazy if not more hebephrenic and they are never able to be trusted as according to your newly acquired friends in your head they are either looking at you funny or plotting to scrape the meat off your flesh in order to make a knife out of your arm. In fact, more often than not, the voices are right and this does indeed happen!

The landscapes are beautiful, and the sunsets are cripplingly blinding and night times are darker than vantablack paint. But let's be real, you're not playing Rust for the scenery. You're playing it for the adrenaline rush of having to fend off against a small crowd of naked screaming children whilst a bear that swam from another country to find you chases you and completely disregards any obstacles in it's way, scaling rock faces at world record times.

The loss of sanity and newfound intrusive thoughts are most definitely a worthy trade off for the opportunity to farm a whole day to find you were raided by a racist bunch of children who ran around your base the previous night screaming slurs while naked.

I have recently noticed from around about the time I made the purchase of this game that i have become a much more sociable person and am really impressed with this, My friends and family, not so much... After a multitude of visits to the doctor to tell him of how great my life has become I have been officially diagnosed with Paranoid, Hebephrenic and Cenesthopathic Schizophrenia! It was hard breaking the news to all my friends but funnily enough they provided me with neither a positive or negative response as they gave no response at all. Now I am forced to live with the constant ringing of my squad and i being Carpet Bombed, Planes flying low and firing overhead and the rumbling of tanks in the distance. To drown it all out I then decided get on Hell Let Loose for the first time and relive these scenes, not leaving me with much to imagine. I do tend to occasionally seize after being also diagnosed with Catatonic Schizophrenia but otherwise life is good.
