hopefully delisting this game in favor of a watered down, $60 remake that looks worse, has most of its content removed and replaced with cookie-cutter placed content from other games and a side-game that's twice the length of kiwami 2's majima saga was worth it. yokoyama is a hack writer who thinks he's on the same level as hideo kojima and horii is a lazy producer who wants to cut as much corners as possible.

Man, i'm so torn on this

In direct comparison to the previous port we had, Refreshed Supply mogs Fresh Supply in every single way. It's hands down the definitive way of experiencing Blood.

That being said...Really, Atari & WB? you're charging $30 for this thing? $30 for an updated version of a game i've already played (which is, admittedly superior in every single way)? And the only new Content of any substantial value that AREN'T Marrow and Death Wish (2 great community mods which you may or may not have already played before this release) is just the Vault content? What the Hell?

I cannot in good faith recommend Refreshed Supply at the full price it's being asked for by both Atari and WB. You're honestly better off grabbing this ONLY at a heavy discount, or if you ALREADY OWN Fresh Supply to just get NBlood instead. I don't think you're missing out that much on getting this Version honestly.

I can't even blame Nightdive for this release, Screw Atari and ESPECIALLY WB. R.I.P. Monolith.

Ehhhh, Definetely not as bad as i remember it being. This is espeically helped by the addition of the 20th Anniversary Update, which added welcome QoL Changes to the game, as well as the addition of the SS2 Rennovation mod, which makes some visual changes to appeal to more hardcore Sam fans. This is especially a more fun and enjoyable game thanks to the addition of the Dual/Combo Weapon System that was originally cut from the original release, being re-introduced in the 2021 Update.

Overall, Definetely a much more fun game than i initially remembered. It's slowly becoming one of my favorites in this long-running series.

A honestly *much* needed updated port of the original games, plus 2 additional expansions for each game. Probably the best way to play both games out of the box without the need of sourceports (though that option also exists too, thankfully!)

I really wanted to be optimistic about this project because it was being led by people within the Half-Life modding community instead of being handled in-house by NVIDIA themselves, but no matter how I try, I can't. It just sucks.
Some of the light reflections on the models either look way too flat, especially on the headcrabs, or are way too reflective. The lightning is way too bright in some areas that shouldn't look bright. The file size of 41 gigabytes is insultingly large, especially for something that's just a demo. And of course it runs way too poorly unless you posses the latest technology from NVIDIA. I'm still getting pretty """good""" performance on my RTX 3070 TI, but that doesn't change the fact that overall this just doesn't run great.

Pretty depressing reality that we have to rely on something like multi-frame generation to get a "smooth" experience. I am not sold on it.
