I bought this game on March 6th, it is now the 24th while I'm writing this, and I've sunk a bit over 100 hours into this already.

It's amazing, I've got over 1k hours for a reason. Great modding support as well.

One of the best games of my lifetime. It is a glitch fest like the other Bethesda engine games of the time, but the writing and polish from Obsidian's hand at the time shines through. Fan patches and mods are easy to come by to help with those issues. Highly recommended!

As much as I have enjoyed this game, I just can't recommend it at full price. Sadly Paradox's DLC practices continue here, regular small DLCs that don't add enough to justify their price. If you're going to pick it up, wait for a sale.

An Urist is as an Urist does. Worth picking up

The game takes some getting used to, especially learning to play the newer Assessor. Once you get the swing of things it's quite fun. The regularly changing color palette between runs keeps the look fresh, and the soundtrack is wonderful. I strongly recommend picking it up if you're into this type of game.

I've played this game on and off ever since it came out, and don't think I've beaten it even once. RNG is a major factor, and you'll have to be able to deal with that as you journey through space. At some point I may get a guide to tell me what I'm doing wrong, but even though I haven't beaten the game, I do still enjoy it greatly. The sound track is amazing, and the science fiction references hit home. I'd strongly suggest giving it a try, maybe you'll have better luck than I have.

If you are a fan of Harvest Moon and similar games, this is likely right up your alley. The continued updates from the developer has helped to keep the game fresh, and the stylized graphics are endearing. The game keeps you in the grind through a plesant gameplay loop of earning profits, to upgrade your farm, to make more profits...oh and save a town center I guess if you're being all altruistic. Highly reccomended!

Hold onto your sanity as best you can, and get some water because there's a lot of salt to go around here. While the RNG in this game can seem like a bit much at times, Darkest Dungeon is a game where you just have to do the best with what you have. It is one of the finest examples of what an early access game should be, and I can't wait to play the full release version down the road. Mind numbingly frustrating, but oh so satisfying when you have a good run. Keep this one on your radar folks!

If you don't take any other advice from me, at the very least play this game! Serriously, if you're a fan of medieval style combat, polotics, and raising an army to crush your foes, then you will love this game.
