It offers but not force you a new playstyle. By not forcing I mean for example that you choose whether and how you accomplish the given quests or not. Additionally you can disable the DLC if you want to play a new session without the titles and the psycasts.

It contains so much things like interesting psycasts, new building and items.

Bottom line, in my opinion the Royalty DLC it totally worth it.
