Incomplete, but I must say I love the concept so far. The survival game is what attracts my attention, a space race style to planet spawning. Instead of singing praises of something that has great potential I will list the problems as of now:

1. [Physics engine is great now]

2. Dead worlds, even the Earth-like planet. The trees are barely in the world, and there is no way to bring them back when you accidentally knock one over. This makes the entire building aspect get boring very quickly.

3. Another thing that makes the building aspect more boring is that automation is too simple. Just hook everything up to a very basic conveyor system and you're done. Some more complication to it would make building more interesting.

4. Need farming. I love farming, and this lack of farming in survival games makes them less appealing. Farming always adds more reasons to build.

5. Multiplayer servers are very laggy.

Now for the great things about this game:

1. Complexity in building itself. As in you have to collect the materials then place the frame, then weld those materials into the thing. I love this over the "craft the wall, place the wall" methods.

2. Beautiful graphics, this is a huge plus to the game.

3. Planets are actual objects in the game and not "zones" or "dimensions" like in some other space games.

4. Active development, the dev team is still here, still updating, still working on it. Though they seem more focused on their simpler game they are still putting effort in Space Engineers. Please buy the game to encourage them!
