Payed for Borderlands, got a fantasy Far Cry with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance

This game is not worth it's price.

1. You have no "garage" of cars, you switch cars on the go and each car has it's own races.
2. There's no manual transmission.
3. There's no controller options, everything needs to be set up via Steam.
4. The cut scenes is a five-graders wet dream. No logic. (flying cars, car tornados)
5. Requires EA app
6. The name of the racers are real peoples usernames
7. The game is missing numerous settings, like fullscreen.

This game feels like a CEO wrote down his ideas and the devs just did barely enough for them to be implemented. This is definitely playable but not enjoyable.

I already liked the mobile game so I was surprised when I saw this game on Steam.

As far as I can see, this game is in an very early stage of development. Very rudimentary character models, only like 2-3 songs, not much to do despite making money and making your shop bigger. This game needs some improvement fast to stay relevant. There's definitely potential here, but if this game stays like this for too long, I will change this review. I'll see if I can help a bit with bug reporting but like I said, this game is basically a unity template with trading cards as a fancy hat. And I really hope this hat stays fancy.

This game is a really good racing game to chill. It's a mixture of arcade and sim, meaning you can literally just take someone else's tune, turn on assists and press the trigger down. So why can't I recommend this game to new players? Theres bugs in the game which has been known since 2021 and they don't get fixed. For example, every time I play any story/business mission, complete it and then press retry, the game gets stuck in an infinite loading loop. This has been already reported several times and theres no fix for it. I also had problems getting this game to even connect to the internet (horizon live) on two completely different systems/accounts. Solution was to relog into the microsoft account. This game will be probably completely unplayable in a year or so. If you already have the game or got it for free, it's quite enjoyable, but DO NOT BUY IT

Bunch of waifus flirting and smoking. If that isn't worth 15 bucks to you, i don't know what is.

No idea how this game is rated 16+ lol.

This game has so much sexualized H stuff in it, it's a miracle you can buy this in Germany when steam prohibits you from buying plain nsfw games normally.

Despite the great humor and a lot of side paths and secrets to explore, this game has a lot of technical issues. It's made in Unity which isn't such a good idea anymore. The fps limit simply doesn't work for me, I get tiny flickering when moving too fast and you can look through walls when you explore your simulated head movement a bit. It's basically full of bugs. I don't see myself still playing this in 4 weeks, but 5-10 bucks is alright for this type of game.

Just don't buy this when you have no humor and don't know what "H" means.

This game may be one of the best games released in the last few years. I'm usually very picky when I review games, but Hades II is loveable from the start.

Pros:
- Amazing gameplay. Feels very snappy and is both enjoyable with keyboard/controller.
- Great artworks/graphics. I don't care about 4k textures and realistic physics, games have the ability to create a atmosphere that differ from the real world. This game does this pretty well and the characters just feel "in sync" with the world if you know what I mean
- No technical issues so far. No lags/crashes or gamebreaking bugs apart from the rare collision issue at the edge of the map.
- Great dialogues all the way through the story. Loveable characters with their own personality.
- No forced diversity. Of course, screaming the N word isn't discussable anymore but I don't need minorities in agame just because they need to be "represented". This is stupid and I won't support games that do this.

Cons:
- The sprinting mechanic is pretty useless and feels sluggish to use. I would like to see this getting changed in the future.
- The upgrades or boons don't feel as strong as I would like them to be. You improve at the game but you don't feel like your choices in boons have any impact on the game.
