There's so many ways you can play this game, so much story to uncover.
Larian did a fantastic job and this game deserves all the praise it gets.
It can sometimes be a little finnicky when it comes to finding certain people or items, forcing you to explore which is a good thing.

If you love D&D you'll love Baldur's Gate

First off, please get rid of the launcher, I get the reasoning why in the changelog but it doesn't utilize my full download speed, is buggy as hell and I just don't want it.

When the goes does work however it's fun and it fills that itch that Battlefield usually scratches.
I understand the game is currently in BETA but can't recommend anyone spending money on it in this state.
Spending 40 minutes waiting in queue, to join a game in progress and then not being able to load into another is not the gameplay I expected from a BETA.
Then again, most BETA's nowadays are glorified demo's so I can cut the devs some slack for this.

Gunplay is straightforward with plenty of attachments, the maps so far are okay.
I do wonder how overpowered some vehicles would be when people unlock a bunch of upgrades for them though.

The "time played" is also a bit deceptive, just like Flight Simulator, time spent in the launcher counts as playing the game, including the time it spent downloading like molasses, and sitting in a queue.

This game is so much more than the meme I thought it was and I'm glad I purchased it.
There is a deeper story with some lighter puzzle elements (unless you want to get all collectibles)
I would highly recommend this to someone that wants to play a light story driven game with beautiful environments.

Full disclosure, I have been beta testing this game for several months which is why I received it for free.

Per Aspera in my opinion is a different kind of resource managing city builder game. The devs put a great amount of detail and thought behind the terraforming mechanics. The red planet is constantly changing the further in the terraforming process that you get and gave me a sense of achievement. There's also a ton of backstory through locations that you can find on the map from previous mars missions both successful and some not so much as well as a copious amount of nods to different sci fi shows and media.

I just finished playing this game and even though I was skeptical at first, this game was worth the money.

It gives a different look to Alice and her wonderland, the gameplay can be repetitive from time to time but besides that you just keep playing to find out what really happened to her, this is where it's worth to find the secret memories as they contribute to the story and give some more background information.

The way the environment changes per chapter captures how her mind is crumbling to pieces to where it kind of becomes f-ed up later up in the game which makes me wonder if the team is just incredibly creative or slightly has some mental issues as well.

If you're willing to pay attention to the story and watch the cutscenes, and love a different art syle for a game, then get this game

If you just wanna rush to a game and skip the cutscenes and just wanna finish it, don't get it because the gameplay itself isn't that great
