Really enjoyed this! Loved Persona 5 and this has all of that love into it too. Here's hoping Atlus keeps this trend going and port more games

I haven't stopped crying since I played this game. It's amazing. The characters are all relatable in their own ways and you'd be surprised when the characters you thought were universally disliked or liked are loved or hated by other people for valid reasons. Seeing as this is Kodaka's last Danganronpa, I believe this is a great way to end his vision of the story. The graphics are great in comparison to the PSP ports of Danganronpa 1 and 2, with HD sprites and actual 3d models outside of cubes. Voices are great in both Japanese and English with minimal translation loss or alteration. I do recommend playing through previous games however, as some of the nuances can be missed, but the lie aspect in class trails is hard to actually use when you've grown used to sticking to the truth. The downsides that I think stick out most is the grind of the end game content after finishing the game as well as the gifting mechanism in free time events being a bit ambigous at times.

Just finished last night and I haven't had a story as good as this series since I last play FFVII. I got really attached to the characters and wanted to be with them, which only made the (AMAZING) ending that more dramatic. Don't check this out on Youtube just because it's a visual novel, this is a game where being blind is such a different experience to replaying that I wish I could experience more like it.

I first saw this on youtube, I was expecting some kind of lewd sexy game that I might torrent for the 'meme' of it. The prologue gave me a Doki Doki feeling, which I don't particularly enjoy, but soon got sucked in by the story and characters. The regret I now feel from watching Clint Stevens play it rather than playing it myself is quite a bit. Now, I've spent a month which 100% the game along with preparing for sequal which I haven't spoiled too much for myself. This is less of a visual novel for the Japanese like myself, but a legitimately good story that people who read Sherlock Holmes, or watched some other murder mystery, except for the characters. I watched BBC's Sherlock after this and couldn't enjoy it as much. There was no attachment to the murderer, or the murdered (Which isn't a bad thing, but something everyone should experience) which I now long for.
