I can hands down say that this is the best co-op experience I have ever had, and it makes me kinda sad now that it's over because there's nothing else like it. I hope these guys make more co-op games similar to this. Have looked at A Way Out and that seems interesting too, but certainly doesn't have the same charm.
Masterful writing, as if taken right out of a Disney/Pixar movie. In fact, this could've been a Disney/Pixar movie. It's exactly the type of feel-good plot they love.
You can tell a lot of care and attention went into both the story, as well as the gameplay and coming up with all these unique mechanics for every new area, all of which are tons of fun, with a single exception where it felt like we were stuck on a part for hours and it was kind of frustrating.
The difficulty overall is very well balanced, minus that one area. The minigames littered around are a fun distraction, which the game totally didn't need, it was already excellent on its own, but discovering them is fun and it's a nice little reward that makes you want to explore everything.
The boss fights are fun, and I found them to be just the right difficulty.
And the world! The world looks stunning.
The only bad thing I could say, would be that it was over too quickly. The final level was cool looking, but it was rather easy, and I expected a big boss fight at the end, and there just wasn't one. I guess it fits the narrative better this way - wish they could've come up with a good idea for a final boss fight though. The game feels sort of incomplete without a final boss.

This game messes with my head, in a good way. I've never played anything like it. Walking around in a place where the physics are so fundamentally different from our own is a weird feeling that's hard to explain, you kinda just have to try it for yourself.
I haven't tried out the VR support yet but I bet it's even better than on desktop. Disclaimer, I take no responsibility if you come out of VR after playing the game and you are unable to think in 3 dimensions anymore.
This is probably not the VR game for those who are prone to motion sickness, but other than that, you'll have a great time whether you're playing on desktop or VR.

An instant classic, with a huge, sprawling, beautiful world to explore, plenty of optional content, and a high (but not unreasonable) difficulty level that will make you strive to get stronger and better at the game. This game is not for everyone, but if you are not opposed to doing some grinding in order to get stronger or get better gear, and you enjoy a challenge, it's perfect.

Early Access Review
Vore aside, the gameplay is actually a lot of fun. Decent difficulty level, not too easy, not too hard.
The gameplay reminds me a bit of Kirby, which is not at all a bad thing, but with some significant differences.
Soundtrack is pretty good. It has its ups and downs. A couple of the tracks are excellent though.
The story is simple but that is usually what you would expect from a 2D platformer and I can't complain. If I want a story heavy game I'll play a RPG. I prefer my 2D platformers to be relatively light on story.

Overall a very well put together game. It certainly doesn't feel like an Early Access title, which often are just a way for developers to sell their game before it's finished and get beta testers to test it for free and they can often be a buggy near unplayable mess. This has a very high level of polish and could easily be released as a 1.0 full release in its current state.

This might be just about one of the most amazing things I have played in VR yet. Highly recommended.

A decent remake of a great game. Not a lot of notable improvements over the original, but it does have mod support which helps as there are some mods that improve it further.
Best to pretend X-2 doesn't exist. It was bad then, and it's bad now.

One of my all time favorite Steam games, if not my favorite. It has a lot going for it, great music, great graphics and unique gameplay. The gameplay is comprised of a lot of different genres, all of which add something to the overall experience and contribute to the end result. The result is something anyone would enjoy, whether they like RPG, strategy, platformers, beat em ups, or anything inbetween.

Despite everything that happened with Phil Fish this is still a great game and a great accomplishment in gaming. Great music, beautiful graphics and a story that will keep you hooked. One of my all time favorite Steam games.

One of my favorite Steam games. The gameplay and story are catching and the music and graphics are good as well. It's kind of short, but well worth the money. Don't judge this game by the cover as it's a pretty weird and unique game that can't be shown off properly in a trailer. It's the kind of game that has to be played to fully appreciate it.
