The game feels like it was designed to sell DLC, not to be a fun game. There are clearly missing features that are intended to be added in a future DLC, and fixing glaring issues with the game seems to take a back seat to releasing new content packs. This game could be an amazing new entry in the civ series, it feels unique enough from civ 6 and has interesting new mechanics, but it feels like that isn't the direction they want to take this game, and for a mainline civ game, that's extremely disappointing.

Amazing game that is as good as, if not better in some cases, than the games it is based off of.

Originally posted a bad review because of the cpu performance issues - I can now say that i absolutely recommend bannerlord - they have since improved the performance significantly and it seems they are continuing to optimise the game.

Very fun and competitive. Can be incredibly scary at times (god help you if you ever go up against a good Myers player). Just try to ignore toxic players.

Its pretty damn fun, defo the most creative battle royale ive played, but it is *not* worth £20. Good game nonetheless, but if c&h wants an active playerbase, theyre going to need to drop the price, or add a bunch of new features ASAP

In all seriousness, crusader kings 2 is a game which is both hilarious and indepth, each character you play as feels unique and like their own man, and you will certainly remember the names of some of the people who screwed you over... If you have the money to afford the DLC, ck2 is a must-buy, alternatively, if you dont have the DLC, you can play multiplayer with a host who has the DLC, and you will recieve all the features of the DLC for that game, which is just amazing.

Very well made game - the gameplay elements have been vastly improved since civ 5, and everything feels far more convenient and useful. The main problem with civ 6 lies in the civilizations themselves, none of them have the unique charm that civ 5s leaders had, which changed gameplay mechanics considerably. In civ 5, playing different civilizations meant different play styles, if you played Spain you explored, if you played Venice you traded, and this meant that each civ was uniquely suited to their natural playstyle. Civ 6 seems to feel afraid of doing this so far, with the exception of Arabia there are no civilizations that have any key differences in playstyle. I hope to see more unique nations playable in the future, rather than nations with small bonuses that nudge players in a certain direction.
