Just buy it, its fantastic.

Update (11/25/2025): Game is still fun. Though the endgame is a bit lackluster. However i can still recommend the game as the dollar per hour value of this game still pays for itself.

I've already put many hour in this game and plan to put many more hours into it.

The games is very fun, play at your own pace. There is tons progression and lots to do.

In this game you can:
-Build your own Village
-Build your own army
-Siege bandit camps big or small
-Liberate villages from oligarchy control

You can spend many hours occomplishing many things.

You will like this game if:

You enjoy survival games
You enjoy RTS style games(in the form of being able to control your villagers and attack places)
You enjoy games with gear progression
You don't mind a slightly slower paced game then most survival games(Mind you it's not TOO slow paced, just slightly slower then what im used to from survival games depending on how you play this game)

After taking sime away from the game and recently returning to it and giving it another go. I'd have to say that im impressed. The new combat system really made the game feel what the devs and players were striving for. Theres a whole lot of secrets to uncover. Foes to behead, and lets not forget the nudity. The games great and it's been on a long journey to become what it is today. I would recommend giving this a try. Best Sandbox Survival RPG currently.

Despite all the negative reviews, i've personally been having a blast play this game.
My only complaints about it is the fact that it's a little too grindy, but when you put your mind to it and play with at least one other person it speeds up that process.

Lets also not forget this game just came out two days ago from this post and it is an early access title, there will be bugs and there will be problems.
However i honestly think the launch of this game was not bad at all in comparison to other early access launches i've experianced in the past.

For those thats saying it's an ark copy, you are correct and theres a reason to it. Snail Games purchased the rights from Studio Wildhead to use their ark engine. There for it uses UI & sound aspects from the game ark, however it still plays like a completely different style of game. If you like ARK and enjoy a fantasy style of game. You will enjoy your time playing this game.

It has a lot of potential moving forward and i hope to see it improve further over the course of time.

Bad game. Period.

Dying light is one of the funnest games i played in a while through the duration of 2015. I'd say that it's one of the best zombie slayer games out there. The best thing about it is the fact that it combines parkour elements in a open world zombie survival game, with the ability to craft and upgrade weapons with items you find scavenging throughout harran. Hat off to you Techland, keep up the good work.

Great game! Nothing like it.

3 shots to a tank with a rocket launcher and tanks not dead. Same with helicopters. Have fun with missions like those that requires a missile launcher early on. GL;HF With a terrible launcer early game and trying to blow up two tanks.

One of the greatest sandbox survival games i've played in a while. From an array of finding blueprints, to chippin' trees, to raiding houses. Blowing them up. Rebuilding. Building your own house. and much more.
