I paid 27€ for this and I rarely felt this scammed in my life.

This is some gold trash.

I rarely finish JRPGs because they are all kinda the same, so 100%ing this meant surely something.

1. the OST is full of bangers. Can't get some of them out of my head. "Warsong" is one of the best battle themes in a game I've ever heard.
2. the game has some lows (the Asylum feels messy, and some quests bugged out like "Find Sam's Rock") but it's mostly very very clean and functional. The updates surely fixed most of the issues I've read about it these last years.
3. Characters are so interesting, wish there was more meat to their background stuff. I was feeling like I missed something because I didn't even explore some buildings and stuff, but apparently there were no more character quests. But I play VNs and Princess Maker-like games, so I'm a bit skewed on this.
4. Enjoyed the game through and through, I'd really love to see a sequel to this with grown up Ramona and Emily. The vibes were immaculate.
5. The fact that there are no time limits is the main reason I could finish this game. Never even tried to play through an entire Persona game because I hate time limits and I want to do *everything*, or the closest I can do to everything, without rushing through the game because of some time limit.

You work your ass to get as much stuff as possible, you free the gremlins because you KNOW you need to do it to get more stuff and guess what?

While roaming what you just unlocked, you enter one of the random doors without a mickey mouse icon and? BAM, locked out of everything else. No way to go back.

I have like 800 other games to play with less punishing mechanics for just exploring something. Go home Mickey, you're drunk.

Honestly for me it's a no. I'm glad i got it at 3€, but the game feels unpolished, and suffers from many gameplay elements that I'm not sure how they ended up being in the game.

Barriers are magnetic, and once you are near them, the car will get pulled nearby. The fact that if you touch them with the BACK of your car you're still slowed down ruins everything.

This happens because the AI is not there to race with you, but just to ANNIHILATE you. Pushing to the side, blocking and any other thing you'd expect from a dirty driver in an online lobby.

Cars are ok aside the ones that are in the "drifting" category. Most of them are skidding too much and are basically undriveable despite having "handling" all topped up. "Grip" is the only real thing I noticed improves a car aside obviously "power", which is not nearly as important anyway because "grip" means you can brake later, follow tighter lines and generally have a better lap.

Tracks are disjointed and the "out of track" area is not distinguishable in many tracks, resulting in loss of speed and slowing down by going what looked like a safe zone.

AI has some combo of character+car that have a 110% speed boost or something like that, often keeping up with your car that has higher PP or CV. This also means that on higher "one car" lobbies like the Sivi challenge or other, you just need to reach the 1st place and then DESTROY the second racer because it otherwise catches up no matter what.

Maybe I went in expecting too much, seeing this always at 6-7€ in these months, but overall it's an "ok if you're into this kind of arcade game with stacks against you".

Not recommended at full price, but if you manage to get it for 3/4€, it's ok.

P.S. Cloud saves between Pc/Deck are broken

Early Access Review
Mi si è bloccato il contatore di ore di Steam, ma sto apprezzando il gioco, nonostante la forma "Early Access". Sprite art is delightful, while the gameplay is a mix-and-match of various card roguelikes.

All in all it's hard as nails and satisfies that scratch for card-building roguelike, albeit I can still see it improving over time.

My "not recommended" won't come from the monetization or any bug-breaking stutter that - yes - are indeed issues to be addressed.

My "not recommended" simply comes by the fact that this is basically a dungeon-looter with a button smashfest slapped on it. Disappointed because it looked far better than what it, ultimately, ended up being.

Still good if you're ok with smashing buttons and steamrolling your face on the keyboard. That's, really, the gameplay.

I'm not going to say "BUY IT IT'S A MASTERPIECE" it's not. It's quite a mess, really.
This is a "Recommended only if", so imagine a neutral rating.

The game lacks a lot of Quality of Life improvements, and fails to explain stuff because - it's very obvious - wants you to "test" things while in battle and understand them. This is horrible design, really.

There are bugs here in there, but the most noticeable ones come from unbalanced fights getting super hard or super easy for NO REASON just because AI found a loophole in its healing scheme, or *you* found a loophole in healing/protecting. You can, with enough experience and especially on NG+, create the "squad for success" almost every single time, exploiting some of these.

The game is hard, unpolished in some areas, has great music, cool art style, very interesting subplots and secondary missions, interesting characters and I even cried in one moment of the main story. That said, sometimes you get absolutely lost in what is the "main" story anyway.

## Recommended if you're not too picky about SRPG and you find this on sale. It has some solid gameplay, that falls more into the "solve this chess puzzle" territory than "RPG".

My first multiplayer FPS game.
The first game I bought for PC.
The first game for which I installed Steam back in 2004.
The first game that I finish only in 2025 after having bought the original discs in 2004.

What an *incredible* fun it is, even after all these years.

Look I'm not sure I'm the right person to review this. I'm not into the furry things, or whatever. If anything, I still hate the whole furry part of humankind and their cousins for ruining My Little Pony and making everything sexual.

This game, however, slaps. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slaps. If you - like me - kinda can't survive the whole "massive boobs and butts on cute animals wtf is this" just download *one* mod, modify the maximum and minimum values and done.

Most of the weird stuff is gone and you're left with a very cute, very interesting, super engaging MMO-kinda-like-Phantasy-Star-Online that could have been a creepypasta cartridge on a Nintendo64 or a cursed bootleg CD-ROM for Dreamcast left on a flea market table in 2000.

tldr:
It's a fun game.
You can avoid the furry stuff.

Get it and have fun.

Was it a revolutionary FPS when it came out? Yes.

Is it worth playing today? Absolutely not. It's just if you want to, you know, "play the legend", but it aged like spoiled milk under the sun.

It's horridly rigid, AI sucks, most of the maps are based on trial and error and you have absolutely no help to track what you did, what you need to do or what you'll do the next time you boot up the game.

I left the game at the infamous "On Rail" mission, which is downright horrifying game design. I kinda saluted the game while the rocket launched in the air, stopping my playthrough before starting chapter 9 of 19.

Half-Life 2 is the superior game, and the leap from HL to HL2 is *SO HUGE* I can't believe it.

Whatever is your reason for playing this, good luck. If you're looking into your backlog/library, thinking "let's see what the others say about the game", yeah, that's that. It's fun until you start doing the same segment over and over because you need to do a weird jump on boxes to avoid some deathlasers triggering the explosives that, even if you shoot, you can't blow up/defuse.
