The world is a lot better than FH5, and has a lot of character. I expected a little more in the car customisation department, but it's not really the focus of the game anyway. It runs quite well, I get around 100FPS at native 1440p at extreme settings and medium ray-tracing, but with the exception of some awful frame stutters at times. I have the most fun just modifying cars and speeding through tokyo avoiding traffic. Traffic is a bit more dense than FH5, but still not the amount I expected (A traffic density slider would've been nice to have in solo at least).
Every part of the game seems to be an improvement, except the AI. The AI is extremely dirty. On a straight overtaking an AI? It'll just turn into you for no reason. I've seen two AI have a demolition derby over who gets the better line. I've seen an AI go down the WRONG ROAD. I had one race in the rain, where all but the first 2 of the AI would spin out the first corner and block the road. I've seen AI take corners at a speed I don't even think is possible in that specific car. Every race is the same, all the AI but 2 are there for show and don't ever really compete, the other 2 have cars an insane amount faster than the rest of the AI and are basically your only two opponents.

A really good game, with a lot of replay ability. The amount of starting deck types, and joker abilities, lets you carve your own path to win. Of course, the meta decks are required to do well on endless mode, but it's feasible to make up your own decks for the normal 8 ante runs. The only downside is that your runs can be heavily affects by RNG, but it's not a huge issue.

Still holds up today. Physics can be janky, but that can make the game funny at times.

All my hours are in the OG launcher.
This game you'll both hate playing, and can't wait to play.

The story, map design, game length and game difficulty all seem worse on this title in comparison to The New Order. It's easier and has half the amount of chapters of The New Order, so you can easily complete in one session. The graphics and sound design are far superior, and unlocking FPS caused no issues for me unlike The New Order.

Although the game was worse than The New Order, it's still fun and worth playing.

The HDR issues from the The New Order persist in this title.

The story and gameplay are genuinely good. Enough weapon choices to suit different play styles. A good mix of easy and hard areas, and somewhat hard bosses. You don't have to recollect hidden collectibles if you die before an autosave, which is a nice QOL feature. The gunplay is fun, but nothing special.

A downside to this game is the 60FPS limit, but it can be unlocked with a mod. The mod introduces some minor issues that can be overlooked, but causes 7 soft-locks which require FPS to be locked again until the next autosave.

This game also has issues with HDR, but it only happens when you close the game and is fixed by turning HDR off then back on.

I've had more fun in the last week than I did in the entirety of my Tarkov playtime. Tarkov is better in a lot of ways, but this game is a hell of a lot more fun. It's a good mix of arcade, and realism.

Update: I found out the servers are 20Hz, and that's genuinely awful.

genuinely fun. A PvP gamemode would be sick.

The sort of game that makes 2 hours real time feels like 15 minutes.
