If I had to describe this with one expression, it'd be 'meh'. It's not bad, I could definitely have fun, but at the same time it definitely wasn't what I was expecting given the price. Combat is laughably easy, even the robots (mini-bosses I guess?) could be killed relatively easily, when they could have been a brilliant challenge. The AI is basic, and even on the hard difficulty they'll aim bad at range. Bushes are kind of OP, making you almost a god. Without the inventory upgrade, you'll find yourself with *just* enough loot to last until you find more. Grenades are absolutely cracked, which I guess is good for realism but makes them OP in the game. There is a very small loot pool, including weapons, so putting some loot behind a 20.99 paywall seems a little insulting with the 44.99 price tag the game has. The weapons DOF effect is also bloody awful, so many times I'm peeking next to cover and it focuses on the cover and not the enemy. The thrall could've been such a good mini-boss, but they just walk at you slowly and do nothing.

The world looks beautiful, and it runs really well. The story seems okay, you'll find yourself wondering who to trust. Crafting is nothing special, works like most games and has no issues. The world may not be huge, but it makes up for it in personality. The weapon models and animations are well done.

On a sale, it could be a good game to pick up. It's still objectively a fun game.
