simple guide to hunting monsters:
1. hit big guy
2. get hit
3. run away on a bird
4. get hydrated
5. go back to hitting the guy or getting hit (in which case repeat step 3)

eventually one of you will fail to finish the other off...also, somewhere in between those steps, will involve a cat rescuing you, in which case, repeat step 1

Sprint is great until you get tickled by a stray projectile from many screens away :)

I too enjoy running around with an oversized tuna and beating monsters with it - except I also cart a lot in the process. Quite a roller coaster ride sometimes.

How is this game still not dead like...my mod library has already surpassed 100 and my boi Alduin died 10 times over....10/10 would yoink his bones again though :)
