I want to give this game a good review even though it has problems but there is just too much wrong with it.
I wrote WayForward and email and they came off as like "We'd have to take a programmer off another project"
So.... that's concerning. The bug I encountered involves your "assist" you can hire enemies you beat up to fight with you as an assist attack. Well that bugs out a lot. You have to completely exit the game to fix it or die when this happens.

A lot of the enemies and bosses feel like they are cheating, you can't remap the buttons or change things like the framerate in the options menu.... lack of choice really kinda makes things feel weird an unprofessional so as much as I love the game and WANT to give it a good review its a no from me for now.

I can't believe I didn't review this because its worth it.
Look, if you are thinking of buying this you already have a good idea what the game is like.

Just buy it. That's the review. Just buy it.

I would recommend it but its not perfect.
I haven't experienced hardly any bugs.
The gameplay is pretty good.
I don't like the story too much.
There is also a few stages that feel "meh" short, repetitive.
Alll in all though? Great game.

I would like to say that I think there are still a lot of times where the game lags in combat which drives me mad.... but all and all its a masterpiece and I can't wait for it to flourish over time and although my PC is pretty good as it is.... I think its really going to test the limits of what can be done. Can't wait to see for updates, DLCs and mods.... games like this really make me wonder what the future of the gaming community holds.

Its not just a lazy remaster but its not a remake.
Its kinda in between.

Just personally not too impressed with it.
Its hard to explain or express why it just felt boring.

I have 100% completed this game which led me to edit my review.

I have some complaints but that does not mean I do not recommend the game.

The pace the game goes sometimes... the speed of it unfolding seems weird. I think some tutorials and instructions could be better. I didn't even know how to hire staff for the longest time.

I've also seen some complaints about very long cut scenes, texts, explanations out of no where.
Simple is better.

I think the pacing of the game could have used some work. I also think it has potential to grow and build as a game that keeps getting DLC whether its free or not we'll see but I could see it keep going.

It needs work but I would say I can tell a lot of love went into the game and that it could be something greater.

I love this game. It teaches me how to murder people!

Why am I having controller support problems for this game in 2022? Are you serious? Trash!

Considering I've played over 500 hours. Yes. I would say you should buy this game. If you want to get the best deal on all the DLC put the Season Passes on your Wish list and keep an eye out for sales on Humble Bundle too! I want to say that I wish there was just a bit more but that's only because I like the game so much. I want more fighters, more moves, more outfits more everything!!
