Early Access Review
Last update was 9 months ago, no news on when the next one is coming. Most regions are dead, so if you're outside of North America, don't expect to find a match with other players.

The game is fun, but it's filled to the brim with cheaters. I really don't feel like taking out my good gear just to lose it to a wall hacker who's trying to shoot me while I move behind a wall.

Unless you join at a very specific time, you won't find any servers up. Even if you do find servers with players on them, the game is a buggy mess, worse than it was during EA somehow.

Too bad the devs jumped ship as soon as the game got released. They've left it untouched since february of 2020. At least make the game free so people can enjoy the product they've paid for.

I bought this game a week ago. Since then, it has crashed 12 times. Also, despite giving you the option to select a server to play in, the matchmaking consistently places me in matches in different servers, making it impossible to play vs heroes. Not to mention the community is extremely toxic.

Update: game crashed 6 times on the same night.

10/10 would stare at my desktop again

First time I tried playing it, waited for 40 minutes to be deployed so I could play with friends. Second time I tried playing, I waited for 30 minutes and the game crashed while reading a tutorial sign. More than half my play time was literally standing around in spawn waiting for deployment.

People won't let you use the fun stuff unless you suck someone off on discord beforehand.

God save refunds.

There is literally nothing like it out there.

Don't be discouraged by negative reviews, just play the tutorials, be willing to actually listen to veteran players and you will quickly learn the game.

Most people complaining about toxicity just actively refuse to listen and learn, play solo for 15 minutes and then cry that they're getting steamrolled on a team based game.

The game is based around positioning. Too bad the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI won't stay where you tell them to go, that is if they ever reach their destination.

I got it for free via Humble Bundle a few weeks ago.

The singleplayer campaign has a predictable and boring storyline. Sadly, the missions are equally as boring. The allied AI is completely useless, to the point I feel the few shots they actually hit, do no damage at all. They will also shout non-stop the current objetive, and by non-stop I mean once every 5 seconds, even while you are working towards it. The enemies spawn indefinitely (they also spawn in front of you) until you complete the objective, too, as a failed attempt to make you feel like you are always struggling. Also, the American patriotism gets really, really annoying, especially if you are from some other country.

As for the multiplayer, it is fun. It feels like a CoD: Modern Warfare title, but on a budget.
The game seems to have had a new breath after being given for free, as new players streamed in, but after a week or two it is dead again.
The bad part of the game is the fact you can spawn in tanks and helicopters if you save points, which basically ruins the experience whenever someone is enough of an ass to utilize them. The drones (mini tanks that won't die unless you knife them) are bad, but add an interesting challange once you become good enough to deal with them. The respawning locations, though, are really, really bad. It is super common for enemies to spawn right behind or in front you. Since they are protected by a shield that has no indication whatsoever that is still active and sometimes does not turn off after the guy starts firing, you will die 75% of the time.

The worst part of the game, though, undoubtly is the one gun DLC they offer: it may be cheap, but locking this gun behind a paywall is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, as it is the most OP gun in the game. It kills in one shot, fires quickly and has a deceivingly long range.

If you got the game while it was free, good for you! Try it out, maybe you can find an active server and enjoy the game. Now, in case you don't own the game and have to buy it, unless it is in a crazy 80+% off sale, you'd better not waste you money.
