These lyrics are repeated 3 times, to hammer in the point of a never ending cycle. Day to day, week to week, year to year, generation to generation. The next lyrics are a bit less obvious. “Dip it all in mashed potatoes!” the pure beauty of these words is magnificent. I have to confess for a while i could not comprehend the pure genious of these words that Toby Joe Turner had blessed my ears with. After listening to this song for 10 hours on repeat i finally know what it means.

It is about having a family, and how it gives the illusion of change. The lyrics change for a short time, only to return to the “Nugget Biscuit, nugget in a biscuit” showing how you can only distract yourself for a short time while starting a family. It repeats again, with the four nugget in a biscuit lines, and then the mashed potato line. This shows how things will eventually lead back to the depressing drab that is the everyday life, so in an attempt to counter this you have another child, increasing your family's size.

The next lines come from a curve ball. “Dip it all in mashed potatoes. Then dip the mashed potato gob of chicken nugget biscuit in the BBQ sauce MMM! Yum, yum, gimme!” This is an obvious tie to how we all just want more in life. More money, more love, more happiness. It shows the inherent greed in humanity. I, if course, am above these sorts of things because i am intelligent enough to recognize them and call them out. While i may still be a human, i am above most.

After this, all the lyrics repeat in the same form, showing that the next generation has taken over and that nothing has changed. Obviously this shows the futility in being a society and how we would all be much better without it. I am going to decline sharing with you a solution, but let it be known that our society has flaws that need to be fixed.
