Early Access Review
I owned this game before it even came to Steam, and probably played almost as many hours off Steam as I have on. This isn't GOTY material, no, no, no, this is Game of the Decade material. If you try it and enjoy it, it will likely make it into your top 2 or 3 most played games with ease. GET THIS GAME!!! (and don't wait for a sale, they have never had one; just buy it already!)

I've wasted a good number of hours on this game and I'm always willing to waste some more. It's fun, intense and addictive. If you want a zombie shooter this is the game for you. There is no PVP mode, it's purely Cooperative. Gameplay can be repetitive if you make it that way but if you're playing new maps and new classes and trying to get new achievements it has enough content to last you for tens, if not hundreds of hours. It also gets new maps and events on a regular basis, FOR FREE!

Seriously just buy the game already, you'll love it!

A great open world RPG, you can play it any way you want. It gets a little repetitive after about the first 60 to 100 hours range however thanks to the steam workshop I doubt that will be much of an issue anymore (at least on Steam). It was worth the $60 I spent on it when it came out so it's definitely worth whatever you can get it for now. Buy it.

I didn't like it when I played with keyboard and mouse but now that I have a controller oh my goodness is it addictive! Get this game, seriously you won't regret it; unless you don't have a controller in which case get one of those also :D

A silly little game, if you can get it on sale for about 5 dollars then I highly recommend it. It will keep you entertained for at least a few hours if not the rest of your life. I haven't finished the game, but I do enjoy hoping on every now and again for a half hour session or so. Due to the fact that I haven't finished the game I can't really speak of replay value. The game itself is a little hard to explain so just go watch a youtube video of it or something.

A fun train simulation game where you compete against other railroad companies in a race to connect the most cities with each other and the resources they need in order to grow while turning a profit for yourself. If you enjoy competitive tycoon gaming then you'll love this game. While it does have a multiplayer mode no one actually bothers anymore, so don't expect to get to play against humans. Trust me though the computers can give you a run for your money. You can normally pick this game up for around 5 dollars and I've personally wasted over 50 hours on it probably so well worth it in my opinion.

A realistic shooter with high quality graphics and game play. The single player story line is okay but only lasts about 6 too 8 hours the first time through. Multiplayer is where this game really shines with huge battles consisting of over 30 players you can blow the crap out of each other in four different game modes on a slurry of maps. Hardly anyone uses a mic so don't expect much co-operation from your team-mates though unless you're part of a clan or guild. I've logged far more hours on this game then any other and paid the full price of 60 dollars when it came out, completely worth it. Since then I've bought five additional copies ranging in price from 6.80 to 60.00 dollars for friends and family. It now retails for about 20.00 dollars and is completely worth it. Battlefield 3 will be coming out soon though so keep that in mind (if it's not already that is).

NOTE: Only worth it if it is on sale, game play is repetitive but fun for awhile.

The graphics are okay and the plot is decent, but where this game really shines is the world size and freedom. You run around huge cities however you like, climbing up walls jumping from roof to roof and assassinating key targets... or anyone you please really. You'll die quite a bit until you figure out your specific fighting style but after that you can hack and slash all you please without any major issues. The one drawback is this game is repetitive as hell, the quests are always the same and the story line just isn't strong enough for me to bother with it. I play to kill some people and run around the tops of buildings pretending like I'm some bad ass form of Aladdin for a few minutes but that is about it. Overall worth it if you can get it on sale, otherwise don't bother.

This game is extremely realistic, I last played it over a year ago so I don't know how large the community is anymore but when I played it was extremely friendly. Everyone depends on communication so having a mic is key, if you don't have one you might as well not even bother. You're going to die A LOT at the start, and probably for quite awhile until you get used to how the game plays. Its not like other fast paced shooters, you walk with your gun aimed forward and check corners or lob grenades in places you can't check safely. If you die, you're out for the round. There is no re-spawning and people don't deal with cry babies. If you're one to ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine don't bother because you'll get ban from servers instantly.

- Important Notes.
Single Player Only.
First play through: 5 to 8 hours.

- Game Score: 9.5/10

- Summarized Review.
This game is purely story driven, there is no combat. It's horrifying and wonderful all at the same time, I strongly recommend it.

- Full Review.
Many would assume the lack of any form of combat would force the gameplay to quickly become stale however the fear of being caught if you don't continue to move forward and the horrifying realization that every time you open a door you may be face to face with a horrifying demon and find yourself defenseless creates for a very unique sense of hopelessness not often found in gaming. To pile onto the already uneasy feeling that you may not be able to find your way out of this nightmare if you're in the dark for too long your character (Daniel) will begin to loose his mind inclining you to constantly light candles and use your lantern; however your resources are limited so if you don't take each action into consideration you'll quickly find yourself running through damp corridors running for your life from a foe you can hardly see.

The graphics in this game are impressive for an independent developer but the audio work far surpasses that even of a AAA title; large events like rocks smashing through a roof to collapse a passage will send ground shaking rumbles through your room but it's the attention to detail in the minor moments like a bone chilling scream echoing down a hallway as you walk by that really stand out, there is a clear love and dedication in the consideration of sound when it comes to Amnesia the Dark Descent.

Overall I was highly impressed by the game and thoroughly enjoyed my play through, this game clocks in at around 5 to 8 hours of game play depending on how fast you move through it and in my opinion is worth more then the regular price; if you can get it on sale go for it but if you can't don't worry about it because it will be worth it anyways!
