Super fun to play on your own- even more fun to play with friends. This game is action games done right, with an expansive and interesting lore and fun customisation thrown in for a solidly built world. Really scratches the itch!

Very relaxing to play, lots of fun with friends and plenty of new things to discover and explore! the game is very pleasing to the eye and the music is chill AF. Look forward to updates constantly cause the new improvements are always exactly what was needed. Good Job devs, for giving us a game worth playing over and over -even as an early access title!

Normally i have trouble playing shooters on PC because the way the controls are set up are bulky, incovenient or simply just don't make sense....however, in BL2 that is not the case.

The controls are wonderful.

==Weapon swapping is fluid
==The secondary controls like crouch and grenades are common sense (c and g keys respectively - see? even the letter corrosponds!)
==The aiming is on point
==Dash key is in a comfortable place
==The interact key (E key) is conveniently located next to your movement keys (W,A,S,D) so that you can run up to crates and open them in a flash in the middle of battle and not worry about being hammered in the back while you try to use some clunky interface to get the armor or health you need out of a crate.
=Jumping is actually a useful skill.

all in all im won over, and will probably be spending a lot of time on this game, and saving my steam controller for other, less brilliantly crafted shooters.

(Oh and did i mention its optimised REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well? yeah. that. )

this glowy skin is badass as hell- also the hair colour that goes with it when you choose a different hair option is really nice as well - purpley blue colour.

I have played this game since the original alpha-- and i gotta say its great and just gets better! It can be both exciting and relaxing in turns. It is sort of....Rust, meets base building, meets Knights of Chivalry.

Pros:
Constantly being patched with fixes, updates, additions, and improvements - (game has come a LONG way from alpha)
Good controls
Nice graphics
decent background music
nice character creation
the ability to build just about any kind of structure, regardlless of shape or size.
deep crafting system
deep skill system
great terraforming
farming, fishing, hunting, and taming of a large variety of wildlife
Seasons change
RP mods available
the ability to host your own server - w/ customizable settings for just about everything from trees, to skills, to animals

And....
-- It was mentioned at some point if you buy this game before the MMO launches you might get a copy of the MMO for free!

Cons:
No party system - you cant see your friends on the map (better be good at giving directions!)
People who skip the tutorial and dont have anyone to teach them how to play are gonna have a bit of a learning curve

I was skeptical when i bought this game expecting the standard fare adventure game- but it blew all my expectations out of the water.
Great music, great art, great story, great controls, great (and rewarding) puzzles, lots of humour, some feels thrown in, morally ambiguous choices, and even the death scenes are great!
Worth very penny! I haven't laughed this much, or enjoyed a puzzle-platformer this much in a long time.

Oh and did i mention the hilarious sense of humour this game has?

-lends itself to in-game RP (if that is your thing)
-Living world "FATES" events -very social
-can level every class on one character
-in depth crafting
-rewards for (collective) subscription time
- 30 days free for new accounts with no prior game registered on windows
-some voice acting on majour personal story quests

Cons:
-loading screen for every new section of the map, even just sections of a city (which is often)
-no auto-turn ins for quest
- no voice overs on normal quests (read lots and lots of clicking through text bubbles, which might i add dont even scroll by themselves. you literally have to click through it /all/.)
-cumbersome (but tolerable) UI.


Overall Opinion:
If you enjoy the systems for a single player FF game, youll like this. Borrows locations from some famous FF games. Similar pricing to WoW. If you like social dungeoning but dont really care for playing with people much otherwise, this is the perfect MMO setup for you.

All the complex ideas, all the symbolism, all the deep thoughts, all the FEELS.

It is clever, meaningful, and emotionally heavy in turns.

I feel like this is something i just have to sit for a minute and process, absorb, after completing.

One of the most creative, hilarious, and fun time sinks ever. end of.
