Fallout 1 ' in efsanevi olan oynanışından sonra olaylar gelişiyor ve fallout 1 de vault 13 den ayrılan vault dweller'in torunun torunu olarak "G.E.C.K" olarak bilinen cihazla köyümüzü kurtarma macerası içerisine gireceğimiz saatlerinizi zengin bir şekilde harcayabileceğiniz efsanevi oyun . Oynanış olarak fallout 1 ile tamamiyle aynı olsa da hikaye ve içerik bakımından fallout 2 her zaman bir adım önde gidiyor bu oyunu serinin en çok sevilen oyunlarından biri yapan şey ise kendine özgü mizahı atmosferi ve tabiki müziği ön plana çıkarıyor louis armstrong'dan tutun ink spots' a kadar çoğu efsanevi jaz blues sanatcısını burada bulacaksını umarim iyi bir oyun deneyimi yaşarsınız kendinize iyi bakın sağlıcakla kalın.
