Seems too random to me.

Incredible amount of hours sunk into this. I hope there will be more planets in the future, maybe even space flight, asteroids, moons, multiplanet systems to work in.

This is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Even after so many years, the game is full of critical bugs, making central quest chains impossible to do.

The worst combat system in any game to date. Whoever came up with the idea that there should be auto-lock on to opponents should be dragged into the streets and flogged.

Starbound used to be a fantastically enjoyable game that I would keep coming back to. Reinstalled it a few days ago, and it is laggy to the extreme, to the point that general gameplay is irritating, boss fights for the most part impossible as the game freezes, and upon accessing the space ship navigator, the game becomes entirely unresponsive.

The best platform for roleplaying on a computer in existence

Although relatively short, this game was really enjoyable. The mood and music, as well as graphic design are wonderful.

I was a huge fan of MM6. A big fan of MM7, and I quite liked MM8. Something, I don't remember what any longer, had given me the impression that this was supposed to be the spiritual sequel to MM6.

That had me squeal in anticipation.

And it may very well be just that.

It's all completely and utterly ruined by the lack of free movement in the world. For anyone that is a fan of the earlier MM games, where moving by squares was the thing, this is probably a Godsend.
