Sorry to ask a question probably answered several times, but I can't find the right topic summarizing everything and up to date. - Ubisoft is not selling this game anymore - This game was supposed to be impossible to complete after Act 1 because of some stupid protection server removed by Ubisoft - This game is currently sold on Steam with a massive discount So... In 2026, is it possible to buy, install and play the whole game or not ? Does it still requires Ubisoft connect or not ? Am I utterly crazy or ...

1) If there is a minimap, how do I open it? I can also press M on my keyboard to bring up another map, but it changing direction with my chars is driving me insane. Can I sent it so the top of the map is always north and it doesn't rotate? 2) Where do I increase my Sword rank? 3) Finished the floor in the thieves den, but there's a door that doesn't give me the option of open it. I love Wizardry and Might And Magic Grid Based RPG series(wish they were more like Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age or Mass Effect or Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and maybe a little easier but kept the good parts of them, though they are pretty epic in their own right)(They have the best exploration and discovery of any game I have played) Would rather not see gridlike as well... If you have some suggest me some that fit this, if any???...
