I love this game, don't buy it. It's the most fun I've had with friends in years, half of them can't play it anymore after the Into The Unjust update. I used to love using the railgun on the bot front as it was the only front left where it could shine. Then they added the War strider, a unit with no weak points (which completely ignores the design philosophy that the entire faction adheres to) that spawn at the same frequency as hulks (2-6 at once), this unit single-handedly punishes anyone who decided to bring anything but a dedicated anti-tank loadout on a front that was previously AT agnostic (you can kill any bot, walker, strider, or tank with medium armor penetration, except for the war strider). Even if i switch to the crutch that is the recoilless rifle it still won't be an enjoyable experience since the entire game has been suffering from severe performance issues since the Into The Unjust update and the bot front was hit the hardest. The best case scenario is that you will suffer massive fps drops but the real problem is that the game will occasionally freeze for several seconds at a time and eventually crash sometime after (sometimes it might lock up your pc). I am not confident that the performance issues will be fixed because Arrowhead is allergic to the thought of releasing a dedicated performance update and appear to be more focused on releasing minuscule bug fixes alongside questionably designed content that ruins the balance of all of the fronts (see fleshmobs, leviathans, dragonroaches, and the rupture strain).

I love this game, but please, for the sake of your sanity, please do not buy this game until Arrowhead fixes their game (not when then say that they are looking into it, but when it has actually been fixed).

FIX YOUR GAME AND COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR COMMUNITY ARROWHEAD, MAYBE TRY PLAYING ON LIVE SERVERS TO SEE HOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥ IT IS. DON'T JUST "look into it" TURN ON YOUR MONITOR AND LOOK AT IT.

Upon further research, using things like dota 2 updates, game id's, and even interviews, HL3 is actually confirmed and is expected to be released around 2018
