Even though CS:GO gets a lot of negative reviews and many people call it a "dead game", it's still the best First - Person shooter I've ever played. It's a very extensive game; there are many gamemodes (from valve itself and many community-made as well) that keep you playing.

Many people are criticizing the game because of the high amount of cheaters, the low amount of operations, the hitboxes, etc...


I guess everyone who played atleast 15 competetive games, already met a cheater. Sometimes they get banned within the same match, sometimes they get banned a few days after you reported them and sometimes they didn't even get banned after 2 months. In my experience, everyone I met who cheated 100% (looking obviously through walls, Trigger-Aimbot, etc.) got banned at the latest after three days, so I never really had much problems with that. Every half year there's a "Ban-Wave" coming up where thousands of accounts from cheaters get banned at the same time.

Operations in CS:GO are like DLC's which you can buy to get a Operation Coin, which you can level up from Bronze to Gold (in newer Operations you can even get it to Diamond). After buying the Operation Pass you can get weapon-skin drops by leveling up. These can be sold on the community market. To level up you have to complete missions, either in solo or in coop. The coop missions are the most fun in my opinion and sometimes they can be very tricky to complete. When operations first appeared in CS:GO, they happened multiple times a year, but at the moment we can be happy if we even get one in a year.

I started playing Global Offensive in 2015. As far as I remember the hitboxes were way better then than they are now. Everyone is complaining about the hitboxes and I completly agree with them but I think in many cases it's really not the hitboxes which cause you to miss the shots, it's the servers and their performance. Maybe one day we get 128 Tick servers.



In my opinion, CS:GO is definitely worth buying. There may be big Contras but they aren't as bad as they sound. Ever wondered why there are so much people complaining about this game and it's problems but they still play it? It's just because it's still a very good and well balanced game. With it's many gamemodes it just doesn't get boring that fast.
I recommend it to everyone who's into shooters!
