Y8, Armorgames, Hallpass, Newsground all different sites I used to play these games on. I am happy to see games like this, swords and sandals, stick rpg and so many more return on Steam. All these different games from my childhood being brought back is really a gift.

I recommend this as is, if you want a blast from the past or a nice game to be able to pick up and go this is it

First online match was told to stop wasting their time
second online match was told to stop wasting their time
Third online match was told to stop wasting their time
Fourth online match was told to ♥♥♥ and that my mother would be receiving a visit tonight
....I thought the point of playin video games was to "waste" time. the online community of "10" people is toxic asf the game is meh, would only recommend purchase if on sale

Pro's
* Fun Gameplay
*Alot of mod support
*Better then its sequel
*Classic WW2 Soundtrack (also can be considered "cliche")
*Graphics are pretty good for how old the game is
*Factions are diverse in their gameplay

Cons
*Extremely toxic multiplayer (Do one thing wrong and you'll have a guy flip the f at you)
*Only 2 base game factions (USA, and the Wehrmacht)
* Need dlc to unlock the other 2 factions (Brits, and the Panzer Elite)

Pro's
*Music (Loved it! Though needs more variety!)
*The pixel art is amazing
*Fun gameplay
*Very good bum time waster
*Constantly Updated!
*Lions (which you can own and have fight!)
*Behemoths that you can play as! (Basically they are giants)

Con's
*Music loops way too often
*While there is a variety of equipment for your gladiator, The idea of making a gladiator your own is pointless. For all the equipment is a placeholder till you reach the top gear. Which is basically the same for every class
*Taking control of your gladiator for a bout means death, or alot of flailing and getting lucky. So I avoided it after the first few tries
*Lack of models for the gladiators.
*Chariot races are garbage
*Lack of "special" bouts
*Lack of unique bosses (Regional championships get stale real fast after multiple completions)

Is it worth the buy?
A big fat yes especially for the price!
The game is really fun, I manage to put in a decent amount of time for a "cheap" game. I still am able to go back to play it and get full enjoyment
