Ace Combat 7 definitely does not surpass the heights of 4 or 0 for me, but it gets close enough. Technically it is the most beautiful and immersive AC experience yet and is truly stunning throughout, there's a great assortment of options for airframes and unlockables in general, plenty of which require more than one playthrough. Thankfully there is plenty of fun and great systems to keep it enjoyable in replays minus a couple tedious missions, but ultimately a positive replay. 7 rewards those who have experienced prior titles, but also works well as a beginner entry point.

truly a masterpiece, but there is some annoying parts. route B is largely the same and can be very tedious to do. make sure you dont stop the first time you roll credits and by the time you reach ending E it's quite the ride!

simply the best rogue-like especially as far as deckbuilders, must buy for everyone who is interested in the genre!!

solid f2p hero shooter that has a fun marvel coat of paint on it. definitely more casual than competitive focused if that is your thing be warned! skins and battle passes are also grossly overpriced and far too frequent compared to the rate by which proper new content is released. if you really enjoy marvel stuff to any degree sure, but if not then just play any other hero shooter.

nonstop powercreep that either begs for your wallet or too much of your time while also continuing to remove rewards from f2p players.. hate to see such a fun title get a slow death from greed.

i wish i could give this a mixed rating. it's not totally bad, but it is definitely a mess of ideas that don't come together very well. my biggest issue is that it's supposed to be a superhero power fantasy story, but so much of the playtime is spent on either watching a tv show (interesting idea, awkward execution) or simply not having control over your character whether that's because you have to walk and talk or just simply stare at something. it's really only worth playing if you are aware of the "quirks" and get it on sale because even as a big time remedy fan this one was rough.

very good choice focused narrative games! you get the main 4 + a mini series and then the 400 days dlc which in total is quite a bit of enjoyable playtime especially for how frequently this goes on sale! very worth checking this out.

pretty slow in every fashion, but there's some solid progression options and a very good building system albeit sometimes confusing. i can't comment on pvp because it feels so much better as a co op experience to me. the lore and bosses are all quite fun, bosses have a solid range of designs and gimmicks especially in the later chapters. crank the farming settings up and enjoy an arpg vampire co op experience and it's a great time!

all timer bloat kills what would otherwise be an excellent game in every way.

It's not very long, but very interesting in execution and content. I tried simply searching keywords at first before simply doing a chronological go through although it is intriguing that both are viable options. Definitely give it a try if you want to experience a non-conventional and more FMV title.
