As you can already tell this rehydrated OST is very good and well worth it on it's own- but now it also includes the stereo version of the original game's OST as well for the same price! In case you didn't know, that's a pretty big deal and the first time anyone's had it since the game came out in 2003!

Absolutely stellar game. Gameplay is solid and enjoyable, the co-op (which is the best way to play the game) is very well done and cooperating isn't a hassle and is very rewarding. The sound design is top tier and plays a key role in staying alive in the dark caves, and the music is amazing.
On top of the game being amazing the devs are some of the best devs I've ever seen, they are very active in the community and provide a great deal of transparency in the games current state of development. The community is great as well, many players are willing to go out of their way to teach and guide new players, however there will be some arsehats every now and then.

Friends are not required! The ingame matchmaking system is very flexible and allows you to pick and choose lobbies to join as well as hosting them with minimal effort! You/others can join midgame and it will automatically scale the difficulty according to players.

Best of all, you're a dwarf with an epic beard and some big guns shooting a bunch of giant killer alien bugs whilst drunk off your arse thousands of meters below the surface. What's not to love?

9/10, highly recommended.

Pros-
-Looks great
-Absolutely amazing soundtrack
-Has some great moments
-Apparently great flight model if you have a controller or joystick
Cons-
-Extremely poorly suited for PC mouse and keyboard.
-Lazy adaption to PC- Half the menus list controllers for consoles instead of keyboards, ingame tutorial uses controller buttons and thus is of no help at all.
-Flight model is also extremely poorly suited to mouse/keyboard, feels very awkward to fly and is not helped by it's default keybinds (3/2 are the pitch controls by default for god's sake!)
-Campaign is fairly short and not memorable aside from a few choice moments, not a lot of replay value

I really wanted to enjoy this game, I've been following it for ages and looking at the very positive reviews and gameplay and was waiting for a sale. I thought it would be a good first step into arcade combat flight games, but I was very mistaken.

Basically it seems good if you have a controller or a joystick, but it's not good for a first time casual with no flightsticks or controllers.

Absolutely glorious. One of Starbound's greatest defining features is its music, no matter what you think of the game itself, the soundtrack is amazing.

Pros:
- Epic soundtrack
- 60 songs for only $5. Thats a really good deal for any soundtracks/songs!
- Not just a bunch of 30 second long audio clips
- Good quality

Cons:
- Does not actually include ALL the soundtracks. Its missing key things like the "Forest" experimental tracks, and is missing other tracks I have heard so far (Of course its the ones I really want to hear too!). Chucklefish really needs to work on updating this. -Update: I have heard rumors that this will be fixed soon

Played only for the knife. Though it would be really helpful if the thing actually turned on instead of freezing on the launcher.

A really good space fighter game, with teamwork playing a huge role in the game. Graphics are amazing, and the game handles well. Ship building is great, and a key feature. And it REQUIRES you to work with your team to achive victory! So no "Lone Wolf"ing. Unless you like losing.

However the games main flaw is its lack of players. Sadly the game is not popular as of 9/19/14, and at most 20 players are online. Very hard to find a match, and for now playing with bots is all that goes on.

This game is a great little gem. Its a space exploration/combat and search-for-items game. One of the most unique games i have seen in a LONG time.

It has 4 planets, thousands of asteriods and almost all of them have items with data in the form of documents, emails, and other things. Flight in this game is very easy to learn, with the only issue is the roation (Q/E) is VERY twitchy and hard to stop. The combat is good. The seamless transition from space to atmosphere of the 4 plants is great, and the entry effects are very nice. The planets look great and the randomly generated terrain is always producing epic formations. The customizable ship system is good, but needs some improvement. The music is very great, and is different for every planet/orbit/location.

Overall this game is worth the 15 dollars it costs, and i recommend this game to people who like innovative space exploration type games.
