I'm not sure if I have to curse you or praise you.
Except for 2 puzzles where I actually had the solution but my brain was just shorting to see what little step I did wrong and I needed a little tip. The rest were very doable.

This is my edited review after completing the game with some minor time in NG+.
TLDR: 6/10 Not bad, expected more. It still is a Bethesda experience but due to the scope of the game, it feels less so (see long review). Do I recommend this game, yes, it's a fun game but seriously flawed and no risks taken.

Long review: I hope i can put it down properly, I'll point out the good the bad and the meh. This review might contain some spoilers but I'll try to keep it to a minimum. Some points that are in the good might also end up in the bad (I'll try to explain why)

The good
* Bethesda experience (those that know, know what this means)
* Exploration
* Cities, POI
* Side-Quest, faction quests
* Ship Builder
* Ship Combat
* RP possibilities
* Lot's recruitable companions
* Weapon variety
* Skill system
* Voice actiong
* Music
* No map
* Outposts

The bad
* Exploration
* Cities, POI
* Main story
* Only 4 actual "important" companions
* Weapon variety
* Lack of tip/hints
* Skills
* Melee (don't wast skills in this)
* No map
* Fast Travel

The meh
* Visuals
* Combat
* Loading times
* Bugs
* Crafting
* Armour Variety

That everything I could, think of. I'll go a bit more in depth as you might be confused why I put some thing in both categories.

Exploration/POI: So exploration Stafield is done really well. So the first x hours you play exploring planets/moons will feel and look incredible, they really did a great job with the view dinstance and the quality of it (no serious pop-in). Look at the screenshot I took from some planets. Same goes for the POI especially the outpost/facilities/... are well done. Unlike other bethesda games caves are actually like IRL caves so basically mostly empty so nothing to say there.
BUT after x hours (this depends from perosn to person) you'll probably have gone through all different POI and will see them repeat, this basically means when you hit that point, is that exploration will be useless as you'll start knowing what you'll come across.
Mind you Bethesda sprinkled some unique POI left and right, and those are truly great to come across, but they are so few and far in between that you will come across 90% the same POI.

Cities/No Map: While they made the new main cities interesting and you'll never actually need a map to navigate them, it does get annoying after visting said city for the 100th time and you forgot where a specific vendor was. Some cities lack travel marker, like the Well in New Atlantis, something you'll visit often.
The lack of a map din't really bother me to much on planets, since the view distance is good enough to find your way to somethign without opening a map. But for cities they could have used some sort of static template.
The biggest negatives for cities to me (but this is a gripe I have with every bethesda game) is that they feel to small, ie to little NPC's, I cannot rightfully compare as they're basically the only ones using the creation engine. Beside that point it seems to me they removed the radiant NPC's nature, but this might be due to having different planets with different time zones/... still this could have been done better.

Weapon variety: This one is short. You have a lot of ballistic weapons 20+. 3 Laser weapons (pistol, 2x rifle), 2 Particle weapons and 5 Mag weapons (sniper/pistol/shotgun/rifle/heavy). So if you wanted to play with sci-fi weapons you're out of luck.

Skills + system: The new Skill system is well done, some of the challenges can be a bit tedious, but it does give you some actual progression feedback. I would say it is qutie similar to Fallout.
The problem is that a lot of skills are junk and sometimes you have to perk in said junk to get to a perk you want.

Companions: This one they dropped the ball, HARD. Let me explain, they added tons of interesting companions throughout the game, give them a back story when you recruit them (nice). Then you recruit them and the basically act like Skyrim housecarls, bland and blank, just there to carry your burdens. You only have 4 actual companions and they're all from costellation and all have the same alligment (good).
They had so much potential with the other companions (like the did in fallout) every named companion could have had their unique likes and dislikes + personal quest (ties in with RP)

Main story + RP: Ok I'm not sure what they were thinking here, they added a ton of options for you to RP but you technically can't act upon them, and this is because the Main story is all about constellation, their missions are mostly in the settled systems (shame). And all of them are good guys.
The story is basically an action adventure not an RPG.
So if you want to be anything but a good guy, it will clash heavily with the main/faction quests, this sadly also ties in with the factions. You can join basically every faction even if their ideals clash with eachother fe. ranger vs vanguard vs ryujin.
I wish they looked at fallout 4 or even better New Vegas and set up the main quest up more dynamically

I hope this helps anyone still doubting.

Great game. It plays and feels like the first game but still new enough to be engaging.
The game also offers quite some replayability.
Sound, music and level design were all very good.
Encountered 0 crashes, or any mayor bugs.
Would recommend it, especially when on sale

Have to say this game isn't really bad, I did enjoy the campaign quite a bit but after 21 mission it really started to get tedious, it was the same thing over and over, build city achieve this goal, with bonus missions that will pressure you or limit you.

The combat in this game is ok for what it is, as you won't see much of it. I would compare this game with an Anno game 75% is city managment 20% is economics and 5% combat. But in the end if you want to create the perfet Roman city this game will definatly be up your alley.

Good Points
-Long campaign
-Can be challenging
-Good City mangament system
-Ok Combat
-Decent Economy

Bad Points
-Become Very Repetitive
-Not a lot of battles

I'd rate it a 7/10 a fun game with a unique style.

TLDR; Great game, decent story (altho predictable), nice visuals, great controls - must play

I've played this game on hard so... for me the game was very suspensefull as zombies were really hard to kill so getting surround was a deathwish, the addition of special and more deadly zombies during nighttime was great. The parkouring is one of the best concept i've seen in a fps game so far and is something you'll be using all the time. The story itself isn't bad but rather predictable, i would have liked that did a bit of a plot twist in there but all in all the story fit the game and the ending was also rather open. Visually the game looks pretty damned good (even if it was just medium) the game also runs quite well( altho i had some randome crashes) . In conclusion i really enjoyed the game and i hope they keep their good idea's and port it over to their next game

I just couldn't get over the 30FPS lock, gave me slight headaches whilst driving or trying to do fast movement, grafically the game isn't prittiest, storywise it's not half bad

Great RTS for people who like massive maps and large scale battles with a very strong "eco" system. The campaign is quite fun and learn you quite a lot
