Hear me out, This is not japanese psyops to get you have a kid. This is the story of things lies in front of our lives.
Besides, This game has no lag, no strange bugs, it works like a magic. This is the gold standard for game quality. You must buy it. Purchase it, Play it.
No doubt, this year's the best game.

p.s. don't use costumes in first run. highly recommended to do so.

Okay, I've seen the ending, all classes.

If you want serious tactical game then skip this (at this moment).

The game itself is solid, but it is frustrating. Hell, I played XCOM a lot but I cannot endure this loop. This is enough for meme game but not for strategy.

Here is some issues:
1. The core loop is breeding - It gets out of hand as soon as you get more than 10 cats. Why there is no list? Any managable UI?
2. "deceptive" perks. I can endure pointless perk but not deceptive perks. Especially, in this RNG fest - NO. (Okay some perks so broken it breaks the game and meta )
3. No confirm button for targeting allies - bruh
4. If you get certain trait then you're definently screwed. 100% (if you're on a team)

If you're expecting proper strategy game, don't buy this game.
EVERY SINGLE PROGRESSION is RNG. If you don't have enough time. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
RNG grind is waiting for you.

The game was fun. But the fun part was short lived - It becomes very stressful quick sometimes. One flop means another super grinding session, so beware.

Edit: YES, this is total grindfest. You will ♥♥♥♥ up with random ♥♥♥♥♥ that you cannot control.

I've got 100% achievements and let me say, this is not just a "We made things 4k" type of definitive edition.

It comes with a lot of improvements and QoL patches.

The classic trails are pretty enjoyable, You get to bad position but you can overcome that condition with various ways.

but timed trials are not really good. It does not feels like "I can do this", more like "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really? this ♥♥♥♥ again?", seriously firefly, taking three ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ full minutes to bring another reinforcement is not fun. change your map design.

Also AI lords gives up on you after certain amount of time and very fragile.
But they patch things up constantly and I can see the potential.

But, For the price they ask, 20$ is just good enough to purchase this and you'll have at least 50 hours of fun.
I hope they make Co-op trials more and make "challenges" more like strategy centric rather than a puzzle.

If you want to have the most of fun then stop after Extreme trails.
If you want torture then play time trials. they say "you can disable time limits" then why the hell time trials has "time" on it's name?

Overall I would rate 7 out of 10. If you value the tradition this could go 8 for you.
If firefly fixes their map and overall direction of trials then It easiliy go up to 9.

If they remove mouse-centric control I can rate 9.5.
rest of 0.5 can be filled with patching the 4k resolution lags.

The game mechanic is solid and good.

but having no speed option, no save feature, doing a guessing game when building a structure is diabolical in "defence" game.

This game challenges you about how much you can cope about your gamer pride.
Especially when you try your first MP session after clearing the game.

The whole game was fun tutorial for one single MP session.
Yes, I uninstalled this game after that.
