Well, Even though this game is quickly approaching 5 years old, It still feels as fresh as it did back then. Seriously, if you have yet to play any Elder Scrolls game, I recommend you start here. Sure, purrist may scoff at the "dumbing down" of the role playing elements, but this allows people easy access to a wonderful world where you can go from exploring an ancient tomb one moment to helping a Daedric lord with the problem of a mad old king. Literally.

While the base game is very good in its own right, the two add ons (Dawnguard and Dragonborn) add so much extra stuff, its impressive. Hearthfire is a mini add on IMHO, doing nothing but enhance the base games property ownership, and as such, isnt as much of a need to own as the other two add ons.

Also, with such a large and vibrant modding community keeping things alive, you literally cannot get bored as you can tinker and play with things to your hearts content. So what are you waiting for? The next Steam sale?
