Good game. Zombie Papers Please, Glory to Arstotzka!
However the drone fights are a bit of an eh, could do without that section or an option to bypass, I just want to work the gate.

Good game for Steam Deck.
The perk system has to ability to make or break you, and the tower combos can be ridiculous good fun.

Warframe is easily the best Free to Play (FTP) game on Steam, almost everything* can be gotten in game just by playing it. This is a primarily a Player vs Environment (PvE), with a Player vs Player mode (PvP). Below is for the PvE portion of the game.
Warframe is an easy to learn, difficult to master, kind of game. Its main progression is story based quests with a steep learning curve for the basics of the game, but once you master the game it becomes a true gem.
The player is a super solider from an ancient war that was re-awaken by an enemy force seeking to control them, once you are free from the tutorial the game opens to be a mission based game taking place in our solar system with Earth as to beginning node. Each mission is randomly generated tile based map with 4 factions in the game to fight, each faction has multiple units with strengths and weaknesses to battle against as well as named Bosses to fight.
The basic gameplay is third person shooter, but it differs for all other shooters. The movement system is one of a kind, the Parkour system allows the player to traverse ground quickly via “Bullet Jumping” the player literally can shoot themselves up 30 meters in the air and then aim glide or aerial roll the gain momentum and hurl themselves across the map.
Each Warframe has unique powers that range from offensive to defense or supportive. Some are purely elemental in nature, others are theme based, while some are just too unique to describe. While they do have powers, they also bring a large and varied arsenal with them, such as Primary’s, Secondary’s, and Melee weapons. There are hundreds of weapons currently ranging from Rifles, Shotguns, Launchers, Beam weapons, Pistols, Swords, Glaives, Hammers, Whips, and the list goes on.
With the Arsenal, there is also the Mod system, modding allows the player to enhance their weapons and frame with more power. the Mod system is the most challenging aspect to the game, because you must collect certain types of mods to be able to enter high level content with ease, otherwise it will be very challenging for players.
Since this is a FTP there are some annoyances, most of all the bugs, since this game is always evolving it will have bugs, but they are fixed quickly due to the community that helps by reporting bugs.
Other things such as build timers, cosmetics, and limited slots (weapon, frame, and riven) are there to ensure that the game can be profitable, which is fine the build timers are a set amount the maximum is 3 days for building a new frame. Cosmetics are generally platinum only, the only cosmetics that are not are alternate helmets for frames. Slots are only platinum, but platinum is easy to get by trading with other players.
Which there lies the beauty of Warframe, by trading with other players you can acquire anything in the game, it does take time for a player to become profitable, but it is doable. I’ve made at least over a 1000 plat by just playing and selling off copies of mods, prime parts, or weapons.
I have purchased plat and Prime Access, but I feel as though it ruins the game for me when I do, I found myself sitting with a mountain of plat and prime goodies that I didn’t earn, and it burnt me out. Because I took the easier path I lost the what made the game fun, the simple enjoyment of grinding for a part to finally get it and the satisfaction of finally building that weapon or frame.
