Your RV falls apart immediately from a single bear you have no way to drive off, except the rare and random bear spray. There's 4 different 'damage' mechanics, but the only one that matters is chassis health, that you can only repair at check points.

Its too janky. The physics are bad.

The game is good as a time sink/distraction, but I'm only playing it because I've made social connections.

If I could pick up my guild and move them to another game that was less grindy, more rewarding and balanced I probably would.

That said, people complaining about the slow speed of running and auto-navigate haven't discovered the joy of flying everywhere. Its super fast and so much fun.

The music is 'good' - but the Lylat Wars (Star Fox) OST feels right

Its not an easy or casual game. The automation is just a 'tad' too complicated (surely your space faring civilisation wouldn't have sent you to make a base without IC programs), but this is solved by using the workshop to 'github' your code solutions.

You have two options to learn, watch the small collection of youtubers who have made content (and hope it's up to date), or trial and error and massive amounts of planning.

Its a challange, but it's fun. Like any hard work, the joy is being done with it. Recommend this game, but in focused doses.

It won't launch the campaign.

Edit: over 2 years later, and buying a DLC that isn't listed in the DLC store; I can now launch the campaign. It shouldn't be possible to buy the game without the content.

Apex Legends here. Movement shooter, with some heroes thrown in.

I love it.

However, it forgets joystick bindings if you unplug/replug them, or move ports.

Wouldn't recommend the VR, you're stuck in cockpit view (Nose cam alternative would be great).

Other than those two minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, great game.

It was great with Australian servers, lots of free fun. NB: If you're Aussie, don't bother. They shut down the sole aussie server. Ping is now terrible.

I loved this game on 360, its even better on PC. I definitely recommend using a controller to play though. Controls are not keyboard/mouse optimised.
