I want to love CS2 so bad. Visually, the game is stunning source 2 lighting and the new smokes are a massive upgrade. But if you play competitively, you know something is off.

The "what you see is what you get" sub-tick system feels like a lie half the time. I'm getting killed behind walls constantly, and the peeker's advantage is insane right now. You hold an angle, and the enemy Ferrari peeks you before you can even react. It doesn't have that crisp, snappy feeling CS:GO had yet.

And don't get me started on premier. It's basically a coin flip on whether you get a legit match or a rage hacker spinning with an auto-sniper. Until valve fixes the hit reg and actually creates a working anti-cheat, this is just a skin simulator.

As for the conclusion : Pretty graphics, broken netcode. Come back in a year.
