Even though PoE1 is clearly a better game, this combat is SO good I don't see how I'm ever going back.

Runs like garbage on top of the line RTX desktop build. Seems fun, but can't recommend a game that gets constantly spikes to 25 FPS on a 4080. Unplayable.

This has got to be the one of the best, if not the best, CRPG of the decade! At 113 hours I'm almost done, but still feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what can be done with this game in terms of replay value. A real contender for "If you're stuck on a desert island for the rest of your life and can only choose ONE game..."

Next up, the sequel!

Maybe I just expect too much from it, but for a game that's supposed to be "Gundam but airplanes" it's pretty simplistic and linear. The upgrades have no weight, whether parts or planes, and what you see in mission one is going to be what you get at mission twenty, but 10% faster. This game wouldn't have suffered from taking risks with level design or variety of weapons that aren't just long missile or multi-missile.

This game has an identity crisis where it wants to be an arcade style flight game but can't conceptualize and cash in.
