Like previous iterations, the Civilization series has made changes that are for better and, sometimes, for worse. It doubles down on the changes that were made in Civilization 6 and breaks the game down into three different parts, or as they call "eras." While this makes the later game more interesting, it's vague as to what the game deems "ageless" and what doesn't carry over to the next era. Much of the nuance to this game is hidden in the Civilopedia, which I imagine most newer players will have no idea how to access. The UI in general still needs work. As beautiful as this game looks, its loses much of the clarity that's expected and was seen in Civ 6. Maybe after a few more updates, this game will definitely be worth the full price.

Undertale is a game which is simple in design, but accomplishes something that not a whole lot of games are capable of. It’s music, tough-in-cheek humor, writing, and characters are certainly highlights, but what makes this game special is not when you get your “happy ending,” but when you RESET the game. Because Undertale is all about making your choices feel genuine (permanent even) and encourages you as a player to think and act outside of the conventional RPG elements to gaming. My adivce? Play this game for yourself, craft your own experience with your own playthrough, and don’t just follow the hype. Take my word for it.

For a game that's currently in Alpha, it's pretty solid, fun and addictive! However, do NOT go on the Official servers unless you want to lose all the friuts of your labor. They're riddled with hackers, which is a major problem for a game focused on PVP and resource collecting.
