Best movement sandbox and best balanced FPS I've ever played.

This game was amazing, for a very long time, as was this series. Over multiple accounts and platforms, I've easily put thousands of hours into Destiny 1 and, as you can see, just under 300 on Destiny 2. Destiny 2 was a very, very good game, until a single decision was made: Weapon sunsetting. With that one decision, Bungie has driven almost the entire playerbase away. Destiny 2 already had a reputation for being the most Grind-heavy Looter-Shooter styled game, and this further forces it.
I love this game, and it's writers. But until Sunsetting is cancelled, I can't recommend people start playing this game anymore, and I can't in good conscience say that this a game that has a long lifespan in the slightest.

I ate my words. Hard. The game not only survived, but thrived. We had the two best years of Destiny we've ever had. We're in a rough patch again, but we'll live. Destiny always survives.
