10/10 - The Greatest Game Ever Created

I've spent 500 hours playing Baldur's Gate 3 through multiple playthroughs, and I can say this isn't just a game; it's a masterpiece that changes how we think about RPG. Larian Studios didn't just make a game; they built a living, breathing world straight from Dungeons & Dragons, where every choice affects a web of friendship, betrayal, and epic heroism.

The story? Unmatched. You're infected with a mind flayer tadpole, racing against ceremorphosis while uncovering conspiracies involving gods, devils, and ancient evils. But the companions truly shine—they're real characters with personal arcs that change based on your choices. The writing is stellar: branching dialogues, moral dilemmas, and funny exchanges that made me laugh and cry at the same time.

And then there are the evil playthroughs. They take the game to a new level of villainy. Embracing darkness opens paths of true depravity—subtle manipulations that grow into world-shattering tyranny. Dark Urge origins heighten the temptation, with inner voices prompting unspeakable acts that feel deeply personal. Patche 7 introduced even more unique evil endings tailored to your choices and companions. These paths lead to terrifying scenarios of domination, destruction, or ascension that are both horrifying and fun to replay. No "good" run prepares you for the satisfaction of embracing the villain arc—the consequences are heavy, and you become the ultimate force of chaos. It's D&D evil done right, without compromise.

Combat is a tactical dream. The turn-based system is perfect, with environmental interactions—like shoving enemies off cliffs or turning bosses into sheep. Even if you're not a strategy game fan, the depth pulls you in immediately. Freedom is total: sneak into camps, side with underdogs or tyrants—your playstyle shapes the world.

The game runs smoothly after patches, boasting stunning visuals, an orchestral score, and seamless co-op. Replayability is endless with Honour Mode, mods, and those origin stories.

Baldur's Gate 3 isn't the best RPG—it's the best GAME ever created. If you haven't played it, drop everything now. This is gaming at its absolute peak.
