Used to play this game as a kid
Over the years this game has changed so much, it became so hard to understand. So I played OSRS instead because it felt more familiar.

Since the new roadmap I decided to play this game again and I started doing the quests and man I love doing these and rediscovering places.

Paid 80 bucks for this, to see it in stores for 70.?????..
250 gb update....

Refunded bcs I still feel robbed from previous 5 titles.
I'm back on BF6 tomorrrow.

Don't 8te me on this review, but this is just a dlc of BO6 which already was a dlc on cold war (which was good lol)

My BF 6 Review

I’m not a OG Battlefield player, but I’ve been enjoying this one a lot. The game feels and looks super cinematic, there are moments where I’m playing medic, sprinting through explosions, crashing heli's to revive teammates, and it honestly feels like a movie. Coming from BF2042, the difference is huge. The maps, lighting, and overall polish are miles ahead.

The game's performance is noteceable good. With my RTX 5070 and Ryzen 5800, I’m averaging around 160 FPS and haven’t noticed any frame drops at all (on a ultrawide monitor, with dlss on yes). The game feels super smooth and well-optimized (no huge frame drops, no random crashes, no lagg...). Also, the SBMM doesn’t feel overly aggressive (idk if there is any or there is but, it's not like in COD.
The pro's (imo)
- Super cinematic and exhiting gameplay
- Good variety and pacing across matches (depending on game modes)
- Maps and visuals look way more polished than BF2042 (it doesn't feel emtpy or souleless if that makes sence)
- (for now) game balance feels solid — no class or weapon feels broken
- Performance is great (160 FPS avg, no noticeable drops)

"The Bad" (more like what could be improved, but this could def be a skill issue):
- Enemies can be hard to spot on certain maps (Times you end up just shooting at the triangle indicator instead of the player)
- Some maps are a sniper campjard
- Reticles/optics aren’t great (imo hard to find one that actually feels good (maybe I just need to unlock more).

But hey, I'm enjoying this.

1. Zombies is fun, not like OG but round based is good.
2. SBMM or how it's called, is insanely present, and like all the other years it's ruining the fun...all lobbies are a sweatfest,
3. Hitdetection is soo off...
4. Latency issues are wild (e.g. I never see the enemy when I die, "they appear out of nowhere"
5. SBMM damage is a fact, bcs sometimes I get killed insanely fast, and sometimes I get a kill that I didn't even properly aim at.
6. TFis that "elimination" bs.. why not KD?
7. Every game I play, feels like I'm manipulated (in a good and a bad way)... am I stil playing myself....?

Great music

+ Great story...
+ Next level clues: It goes so far that you have to disable vsync in order to pass through a tent
+ Rocks are insanely lethal.
+ The stealth mission made me question my life.

- Sad there is no achievement of dying at least 100 times... bcs I somehow managed to f up every stealth part.
- Still debating wether the stealth of that child is more annoying...
- Hugo's ability is soo bad... it's unplayable
- Combat is insanely annoying

UPDATE: The hugo stealth missions are even more annoying.... ffs

I really wanted to like this game but this puts a shame towards the first game..... on so many levels....
1. Combat movement is so clunchy... I started playing this right after the first one (which had great movement)
and in this half of the time inputs don't register or feel like doesn't make difference. Somehow
the doging is terrible or doesn't work at all...
2. Story is insanely underwhelming
3. You walk more around than anything...
4. sad

10/10 What an ending....
