Y'know, it makes me sad to say this, but no. Don't buy it. This game has so much love and TLC packed into it in the beginning that you immediately get hooked. But the moment, and I mean THE MOMENT you exit the first building... all fun goes out the door. At that point, it's a war of attrition you cannot and will not win. Unless you are a Dark Souls player. In which case, this is the game for you. Vaya Con Dios.

Unacceptable graphical performance. Game - I think it's good? Kind of hard to tell when damn near EVERY FRAME STUTTERS. Can't enjoy cut scenes because of similar frame rate drops. Like, tell me how God of War on max graphics settings looks like a proper ps5/next gen game, but this looks like someone trying to emulate through a pizza box. Absolute trash graphics and performance. Thumbs down until it gets fixed.

Stick with it past it's obvious flaws in the beginning. This game is one hell of a ride, especially that final charge. Whew. Makes me wish Salvation was better than it was.

For what it does do, this piece of hardware is amazing. Playing Street Fighter V in the living room with it streaming from my PC see's no lag. Thought everything was great, then I loaded Rocket League.

How the hell are you gonna advertise Rocket League in your damn video when the input lag for that game is so atrocious it's not even playable on Steam Link?

Aside from that, a future iteration of this piece of hardware needs two things in my opinion:

1. An internal hard drive for file storage, or at least the ability to view external hard drives directly from the device.
2. The ability to sign into two steam accounts at once for the PLETHORA of non local co-op games that are specifically online play only. Setting up a system where two users could sign into the device and then connect via a vpn or what not would make this device nearly perfect. There are too many damn games that this device WOULD work amazing with that it simply doesn't yet due to how developers are making multiplayer. So, work around it. It's definitely possible.

All in all, I'd probably wait for the second version before buying.
