I have played rainbow six siege almost since this game came out. The while the meme of hating this game so much but having 100s of hours in it is true, this last update actually made rainbow six siege almost unplayable. Why you may ask? Year 9 Season 4 introduced a bunch of new things, such as a nice Blackbeard rework. However, it is all overshadowed by crossplay. I am a lover of crossplay, but in a tactical police shooter, where reaction time, noise, as well as visual queues, is very important, crossplay should be optional. This comes to the crux of the issue. R6 does let you opt out of Crossplay, but only for console. Meaning if you are a PC user, you are stuck with having Xbox and PS users in your game, meaning they have their microphones always on, they don't use headphones, sit far from the screen, and have very slow reaction times (Not to mention a lot of them seem to love to team kill.) It also means that console players have free aim assists, and get easier kills and headshots. Until Ubisoft allows PC players opt out of Cross play, I can not recommend this game any longer.

What brought me into gaming, years ago, was Halo: CE. I played that, and lost an interest in gaming for years. Then, I played Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon; Explorers of Time. And this reinvigorated me and my love for gaming. Years passed, and my passion for gaming once again started to fade. Then, this game came out.

In "I Am Setsuna", you play as Endir. A Mercenary. You join Setsuna, and her Royal guard to help her get to her destination. Each character, has an interesting perspective, story, emotion, and drives. It got me to want to play through the hard parts. The challenging parts, and the heart wrenching parts as well.

The story itself is somewhat basic, and told many times. As the advertisments say, it is a story of sacrifice. And I knew how it would end by the time I saw the first ad. While the story is simple, the symbolism, and the metaphors are outstanding. However, I obviously did not know this at the time. I believe what drew me to this game was the gameplay.

The gameplay is very simple. However, it requires a lot of strategy, thinking, and is, at the same time, complicated.

As Brina Palencia, (The voice actress of the advertisments) said, "I remember the tales of ages past. Epic tales of Heroes, and of sacrifice." "....When the world beckoned me with open arms. When adventure called to me." This to me, was symbolic of how video games of old were. When she said "I choose to remember these things. Small things, hopefull things. For now, a long journey lies ahead." ".... Remember the comfort of friends." (Meaning for me when characters in games were people, not NPCS.)

I am Setsuna reminded me of why I love video games. There should be more games like this.

And so yes, I will remember. I will remember I Am Setsuna.

I just beat Dust: An Elysian Tail, and I do have to say, that this is indeed one of the greater games I have ever played. It has a very amazing storyline, that made me actually think, and feel for characters I didnt know of. I felt like they made you feel the weight of everything, which is truely unique. All and all, this was an amazing game, and I did not regret playing it.

This is a very fun game. I do enjoy how each race has different agendas and different ways to get to them. However, the only thing I do not like about this series is that the totorial does not explain things very well, and you must figure things out on your own. But once you do, this is a very enjoyable game.
