I'm not a fan of extraction shooter pvp elements but this game is undeniably a quality game. There's issues that'll come up with some desync on shots and inventory management is a pain but those are smaller issues compared to just how fun the game is as a whole. Highly recommend for solo or group play.

Performance issues are really rough even with a solid computer. Lag in the UI was really noticeable which frustrated me and overall the gameplay was just ok. The gunplay doesn't feel nearly as punchy as other titles and the grappling mechanic is honestly disappointing. This would have been phenomenal 10 years ago but in 2025 the competition is just too good for this to be considered great. The story has been nice and added movement abilities were fun. If there were no performance issues I'd probably enjoy the game but even without them I don't think I'd be hooked, just enjoying it until something else shinier came along.

Very well polished game that is great to play with friends or solo. I've been hooked since the moment I installed. I love the character and gameplay design and there's a lot of interesting build paths to keep things fresh.

If you're going to release a game on PC then the controls shouldn't be borderline unplayable on mouse and keyboard. The UI also was arguably more difficult than the enemies. The world and tone are awesome and the fights were mostly great. However, forced PVP and terrible multiplayer support along with my previous complaints were enough to make this experience more frustrating than fun for me.

I've never played any of the other Hammerwatch games but this was easy to get into and fun to progress with friends. Balance is a bit wonky at release but the developers have already dropped multiple patches addressing outliers.

Fantastic survival crafter with unique mechanics. Progressing the world feels rewarding and the semi-idle progression makes you feel like you're always making progress towards the main goal when you take time to explore or build.

A great game that rewards tactics but disguises it with chaos.

Extremely fun game that seamlessly combines elements found in many space, building, and economy-based games very well. Captured my interest much like ARK: Survival Evolved and Minecraft did with its open-ended gameplay and seamless multiplayer experience. Within a week I bought several copies for friends and we've had a collective hundreds of hours already. Devs have communicated very well and multiple rapid-fire patches have been pushed to add new features and improve QoL in just the short few weeks I've played. I highly recommend this game at this time.

This is a very fun game to play with friends with excellent progression and customization options and tons of replayability. I hIghly recommend it.
