I have owned this game for 3 weeks now. I stopped playing actively around 6-7 years ago. My average year has had around 100-150 hours of gaming. This game now has ~70 hours in these 3 weeks. I am estimating that I will have in one month played this game more than I have played anything else in a year.

The game is fun. It has fun mechanics and actual tactic elements and you can affect things, both positive and negatively. The game is built around grind. You will die. You will die again. Your friends will die. Nothing will happen and then you die. Some days you play well and you manage to stay alive for long time until the baby eaters come and kill you while you are bit carelessly moving that expensive cargo. You swear a bunch and then you race to save the cargo and rest of the logi team just to find it useless so you start hunting the enemy by boat/car and end up destroying their logi line just to find your cargo, after 3 hours of trying to find the cargo you realise it is lost and it's being used against you in the city next door. You have failed, but your effort of trying to get it back has ended up earning you triple the resources you would have anyway contributed and crashed the enemy troops supply line. Then you go back to scrapfield and continue the grind and nothing happens for many hours

Might not be the same kind of experience as To The Moon but I still loved the story telling.
