just..... wow........

i cannot think of a game that more perfectly encapsulates the phrase "video games are art"

every way you look at it that feels like it was one of the core tenants of this game from the outset

its also one of those games that.... kinda makes me wish steam reviews weren't so binary. like, i did deeply enjoy this game. but also to say i full stop recommend it is only half true. this is not a game for everyone. this game gets deep, and not in the typical way games do. this doesn't feel like a typical narrative walking sim. this was written by the man who wrote The Stanley Parable, but trust me when i say the experiences could not be more distant. the only crossover is being made in source and being a walking sim. i'm not even close to intellectual enough to dissect this game. like all art, its all what *you* see in it.

if you have TSP (not UD, just the original) you can get a dollar off of it with the bundle. while the former is very much a game with an artistic point, this is purely an art piece. i loved it, but this is not an experience for everyone.
