Massive improvement on the first title, though the difficulty spikes up. Recommended to play through Hollow Knight first.

If you're a fan of the previous Elder Scrolls games, this is definetly the game for you.
Lore is as abundant as a new trend just hitting Vine.
Every aspect of Skyrim is carefully thought upon, and is given a backstory. For example, you won't see a random object just being out of place without a reason. With enough books to make even the oldest librarian soak her pants, you can take a different route, and choose to use Skyrim for plain out Litterature, if it suits your style.

Skills offer a great variety of playstyles, not constricting you to a single method.
You could be an archer, an assassain, or a plain out brute, wielding anything from two handed weaponry, to dual wielding axes. (Note that a true Nord would obviously go rampage a village with axes in each of his palms.)

The magic offers even more ways to play, even to the point where you can burn someone alive while you cut them up with the newly smithed sword.

Character creation gives the game an even more personal feel, as you can heavily customize yourself. Conversating with NPC's are open paths, you can choose whether to be hostile or friendly towards the little bugger that yet again asks for your assistance in something, lazy bugger..

Are you a fan of RPG's? Are you a fan of great lore and a really intriguing story? Perhaps you love magic, or even assassinating enemies. You can steal, kill, aid and assist anyone and anything, because everything has a purpose.

Just... leave the chicken alone. Trust me on this one, you don't want to find out.

Oh, and the Giants? They might look strong, but they are some of the weakest creatures. I slayed 10 giants on my first day of the game. Don't fear, a simple iron mace will easily get rid of him, I promise.... ;)
