The epitome of "A great game for about 6 hours of your 15 hour playtime".

For what it is, it's... Okay. A game that starts off great and ends with a whimper.

It has huge problems in the form of your choices not being respected, dialog trees not quite being ironed out often revealing or describing things you have not done, or yet to do - and a large portion of the game is gated behind using a spell in the correct position or you're stalling for time until the second last day.

Interactions are formulaic past a certain point, with characters boiling down to a simple recipe:
1. introduce a quirk about my character
2. allude vaguely to a quest
3. give a political speech
4. never spoken to again

Ultimately none of your descisions matter - the ending is canned and there is no form of closure for the more long term descisions you make. Taking the 'harder' route of swearing to none is never referenced once again, but you drinking a gender swapping potion is.

Had some guy spend 4 hours overnight nudging one of our assault thopters into the deep desert just to grief. This is the state of the game in a nutshell, avoid!

So refreshing to see a game come out complete without gamebreaking bugs (Barring a few areas you can get stuck on).

Massive respect to Warhorse Studios for making something will inevitably drive the RPG scene and show you don't need supermassive teams or budgets to produce bloody good quality games.
